Used for new PC build - have used WD products for many years and again, no surprises!

Crystalmark benchmarks came up nice filled the drive multiple times and have used ntsc,fat32 and ext4. Temperatures stayed optimal without a heatsink but dropped 10 Celsius with one. It doesnt feel much like a storage device in terms of interrupting your life waiting for games to load. Do yourself a solid and get an NVMe M.2 drive. I bought two of the 500GB model and I should have bought more (size or qty). These SN770s are fine examples. When starting FH4 or FH5 Im pressing buttons to move forward in just a minute.

Ive always like WD black brand/model. Never had any problems in the past, particularly their platter HDDs version, that are still spinning up to this date. Got the 1tb SN770 model a couple of weeks ago, but have to pull it out from my new system in 2 days as it is unusually hot. It idles at 62 degrees celsius, and 89 degrees on full load. Bought two different types of heatsink for it, but still idles at high temp of 55 degrees. Will buy another of the same model (while still on sale), and hopefully get something thats within their advertised operating temp, hence 3 stars. This item is going back though.

This is a top-notch WD (Western Digital) Solid State Drive. Like every WD (Western Digital) hard drive or solid-state drive that I have ever purchased, they last a long, long time, are well-made, and always function perfectly.

Not much to say, this ssd is fast for gaming and not too expensive. 1TB is a perfect start for someone that wants a bit more space.

I had a problem with installing this into my laptop. Found from HP.com that I had to install the intel ready storage drivers from the driver software for my laptop. Once done had problem with the wifi installing when installing windows 11. Same fix get the drivers. Now this laptop rocks. My laptop is pcie gen3x4, even though this drive pcie gen4x4. It still rocks.

Easy to install. Worth cost.
