> 3 dayThis drive was a bit of a nightmare to get working in my new hp laptop. I installed it, the bios could see it, but windows installer could not. Ended up having to hunt down Intel rst vdm drivers to finally get it to work. So keep that in mind when you get to the windows install part.

> 3 dayIve always like WD black brand/model. Never had any problems in the past, particularly their platter HDDs version, that are still spinning up to this date. Got the 1tb SN770 model a couple of weeks ago, but have to pull it out from my new system in 2 days as it is unusually hot. It idles at 62 degrees celsius, and 89 degrees on full load. Bought two different types of heatsink for it, but still idles at high temp of 55 degrees. Will buy another of the same model (while still on sale), and hopefully get something thats within their advertised operating temp, hence 3 stars. This item is going back though.

> 3 dayI have just finished installing and formatting this SSD in my ROG zephyrus G15 and it has made all the difference. For the bracket this SSD is in, the write speed on this is blisteringly fast in comparison to most of the other offerings I have tried, including the one that came with the laptop. Great product at a fair price.

> 3 dayI disagree with the comments. Install the 1Tb disk on a Lenovo T480 laptop to the usb c port, the speed reached is just 1000 m / second. Im guessing its because of the old laptop. I will buy another unit to install it on a pc that I am going to build. At that time I will act out my comments.
