> 3 dayNot my first SSD choice. But when My first choice starts to get pricy, I go for the HD brand that I have trusted the most for many, many years.

> 3 dayWhat else is there to say? NVME storage is just straight up better than the alternatives and Western Digital has long been a solid brand in pc data storage Fast, doesnt require cables or a spot to be mounted to in your case, and is now fairly affordable and only going to get cheaper over time. Would highly recommend using one until the next version of storage comes out.

> 3 dayI ordered it Used Like new and it came in perfect condition only thing missing was the M.2 Screw, which wasnt a big deal since I had a box full of them, I would recommend getting a Set of screws or a box with multiple screws for future occasions.

> 3 dayI purchased this to clone my current OS running on a SATA interface SSD drive installed in a Dell Optiplex 7050 small form factor PC. The Dell has a single M.2 NVME interface on the motherboard which is worlds faster than the SATA interface. I installed this WD Black NVME to an NVME-to-USB adapter and then used Macrium Reflect to hot clone my current OS to this new drive. After about 15 minutes, the drive was ready. Powered off the Dell, installed the NVME drive and unplugged the SATA SSD and booted into the BIOS/UEFI to verify settings. After checking things there I let it boot normally. Windows came up FAST and drive speed tests indicate it was maxing out the speed capable for PCIe 3.0, ~ 2,000 MB/s. The difference between the previous SSD drive and this new WD Black NVME is like night and day. Everything runs much snappier and my game load times have been noticeably reduced.

10-06-2025I used this to replace an SSD on my desktop and this thing is fast! I was shocked at how much it increased my boot up time and loading applications.

> 3 dayAdded this SSD to my gaming rig! It works perfectly! It just runs a little on the hot side but thats expected for SSD w/o heatsink. No issues at all.
