I purchased this drive along with the necessary adapter to upgrade the 128GB SSD that came in my 2015 MacBook Pro to 1TB. After reinstalling the operating system its working great and is definitely faster than the stock drive. There are faster drives out there but it’s hard to beat western digital reliability.

Eat to install and now can boot computer up in less then 10 secs

Bought this to expand my laptop storage, use it to store games primarily. Works pretty well, speed is not the fastest but good enough. Well worth it for the money

Very slow boot for a NVME. Speed is similar to my very old sata ssd. No instructions or clone software for the average user like myself. Only paperwork was warranty paperwork. I had to google for an hour and use a 3rd party clone software to clone my windows and backups. Horrible experience.

Speed of my computer increased by 10 times. I cant imagine. I strongly recommend it.

Unplug you old drive when it finishes cloning, let Windows boot (might need to change BIOS boot choice), shutdown, plug old one back in, reformat for storage.

I used this ssd with the (M.2 NVME SSD Convert Adapter Card for MacBook Air Pro Retina (Year 2013-2017), Sensico NVME) and upgraded my macbook air 2014 to 1TB. Was very easy to install!
