Even though it works with my hp15db0186au laptop. The speed is like normal ssd of 2000 to 2500 rs range around 400 to 500 mb/s. Not faster line 2000 mb/s while testing.

My husband has many computers and computer components as his works requires lots of computer work. I knew he’d want this when I saw it. He said he was happy to see that Western Digital updated their SN500 line to have higher performance while still being affordable. This one replaced a three year old 250GB M.2 2280 made by a company widely known for their high-end SSDs. Going off of the published numbers, this one is slightly slower but the same Bonnie++ benchmark run on both of them gives nearly identical performance. Smartmontools shows that it runs several degrees cooler and that may be because this one has only one large chip as compared to the older one. Obviously, I wont be able to comment on its longevity for several months but it slogged through a 24-hour burn-in benchmark without any errors and has worked flawlessly since my husband first powered it on and he’s been extremely happy with it. Highly recommend!

Sending back the first item because it had a broken package seal and had obviously been returned. Now I have received the replacement and it is also a returned item. It is not that easy to install one of these and I dont really want to go through the trouble to find out that I have an SSD that someone returned because it didnt work. I wonder how I go about getting a new one.

this is a great new hard drive format (new to me, i know its been out a while) Usually buy WD they always seem to be reliable so i went for their m.2NVMe and was not disapointed speed are reasonable. i have heard people say they get too hot, but mine are ok, they get warm of course but thats normal
