I needed more storage for my NVR, the manufacturer suggested another brand but had not tested this version. I saw that it was a performer in the testing data and after install I have had zero issues. The NVR interface was able to increase my storage and I am able to record much more.

Bought this to replace a failed drive in a Reolink NVR. The r/w head seek sound is significantly louder than the old drive. The NVR is in my bedroom and constantly recording 4 streams of 4k camera video, so the sound goes on 24/7. You may want to find a quieter drive if you expect to use it in a similar situation and are sensitive to constant drive noise, especially at night when the house is quiet. Other than that quibble, it is doing the job.
