These Whirlpool filters are a great product, long life but according to your water situation. I need to change these filters every month vs every 3 months as recommended, which is understandable. This is not the fault of the filter. I simply have a lot of filtered residual. I tried other filter brands / types and needed to change filters 3 times per month. I highly recommend these Whirlpool filters. The corrugated exterior seems to permit the filter to dirty in stages, inside channel first, working its way out of channel as the residue dirties, extending the filter life. Others dirty all in one stage restricting water flow quickly. Beware of filters with, so called corregation or ridges on the inside! I believe those types are only run through a screw type pin leaving only cosmetic corregation or ridges. These Whirlpool filters are pricey, but cheaper in the long run. They were much cheaper at a big box store, but were replaced with an inferior alternative. Too bad, so I took my business elsewhere!

These are excellent whole house filters. They dont take out the chllorene taste, but otherwise they do a good job cleaning the water.

This filter works with his other kind of filter buddy in our Whirlpool Under the sink Water Filter. It lasts 6 months approximately and provides us with great drinking water. We have not purchased bottled drinking water in many decades.

Decent filtration, lasted a fair amount of time. I preferred my results with a 1 micron filter though.
