These are standard whole house sediment filters.

These water filters work exactly as intended and as advertised. They make my water better, do a great job and even get rid of some smell and keep pressure high.

Bought these based on them supposedly being direct replacements for the WHKF-DWHV pleated filter. Installed easy enough but these are slightly taller than the pleated ones and I cant get the canister seated properly so its seeping.

Im using this filter for the first stage in my reverse osmosis filter system. I try to change out the first filter every three months or so in hopes that the carbon filters can last a little longer since they are more expensive. As you can see in the picture even after my water softener, the 5 micron filter pulls out a good bit of impurities. This whirlpool filter did seem a little taller than the previous filter I used, but I was able to tighten it enough to get a good seal.

Filters were a direct replacement, plus at a very affordable price. Also they were delivered very very promptly.

Works great for filtering the well. Collects a lot of dirt/debris.
