> 24 hourHad an absolute dead spot in my backyard and some parts of my downstairs. Of note - home is 2 stories with about 3800 sq feet of space. Yard is separated by two walls. Speed test was roughly 2-5 mbps (in yard). I plugged this unit on first floor (router on 2nd) and about 25 feet down the hall. Using the 5 ghz band, the outside connection is now roughly 40 mbps. Im happy because i almost went with a Mesh System. Glad I invested in this simple device first. Very happy.

Reminder:
- The working status of the repeater can refer to its smart indicator light.
- WiFi signal booster is only limited to increase the coverage of the wireless signal, but not to increase the speed of the network.
- When the repeater expands the signal, it does not need to plug in the network cable. It can receive the signal of the router directly by plugging it into the socket, and transmit the wireless signal.
- When the repeater is unplugged or powered off after the setting is completed, it does not need to be reset. The original configuration information has been saved, unless you manually restore the factory state.
