They seem to have respectable range.I always had trouble connecting on the 1st floor of my apartment due to a cement barrier. But now with the extender installed I dont have to worry anymore!

> 3 daySo far so good. Had real problems with getting a signal upstairs, but this is a game changer. Full 4-5 bars everywhere. Some people are reporting slow speeds to their existing wifi or half speeds using this device - this has not been our experience. We did have an issue that we easily remedied. My son moved the extender to a new outlet and after that for some reason it would not accept the password. So, we just did a quick hard reset. To do this, it must have power (we learned this the hard way). You need a paper clip to do it. Just keep it powered up, and with paper clip press the reset button on bottom of unit, holding it for 8-10 seconds. Then, making sure you are on the new TPLINK network, go to tplinkrepeater.net and just reset it. Will keep you posted if this is a recurring problem.

> 3 dayThis is a nice little feature. You can also adjust signal strength. This is useful if you only want it to cover a single room or dont want your neighbors to pick up on it. I have used several different extenders and so far this is by far the best of the bunch.

> 3 daySimple and problem-free setup, and it completely solved the issue. We had a master bedroom and bath that could never get a decent signal no matter how I positioned the router. Priorities dictated that the router remain near our offices, but plugging this device into the hallway adjacent to the bedroom eliminated the issue. Strong signal and fast loads/streaming... totally happy.

> 3 dayMy house is 100 years old, made of stucco and lath. The walls are 10 to 12 inches thick. If Im on the second floor anywhere near a wall, I simply do not receive wi-Fi signals. Set up was very simple and when I plugged this bad boy in I was relieved to see that I was one bar from full strength; A drastic improvement in signal strength. I used PayPal and it was delivered to me in three days. I am a skeptic so Im waiting for the other shoe to drop but so far it greatly exceeds my expectations. Ill let you know if something goes wrong – stay tuned.

Reminder:
- The working status of the repeater can refer to its smart indicator light.
- WiFi signal booster is only limited to increase the coverage of the wireless signal, but not to increase the speed of the network.
- When the repeater expands the signal, it does not need to plug in the network cable. It can receive the signal of the router directly by plugging it into the socket, and transmit the wireless signal.
- When the repeater is unplugged or powered off after the setting is completed, it does not need to be reset. The original configuration information has been saved, unless you manually restore the factory state.
