My daughters room (upstairs) is the furthest spot from out router (downstairs) and she always receives a weak signal. Before installing the extender, I measured the signal strength in my daughters room (5.2 mb/sec). I installed the extender in our upstairs hallway and then measured again. The signal from the extender into my daughters room is now 35.3 mb/sec. Installation was very simple per the instructions. Very pleased with the results, I really was not expecting this size of an increase.

Trivial to setup if your router supports WPS. It did get stupid once so I had to unplug it and plug it back in but thats just typical of any consumer grade networking product.

gave my wife on the other side of the house much stronger signal. easier connection to wi fidoes what it is supposed to and super easy setup took less than 5 minutes

I use in my house, because I have router in my bedroom, I putting in the living room, and now I have 100% signal on the rest of the house..

Was having wifi signal problems with my ezviz camera mini O 720p HD wifi camera I put my in my garage. Had good signal in my mud room just before the garage, but once you opened the door and walked into the garage, the signal dropped drastically. I have the camera set to motion detect, where it should record to the ezviz cloud and send me a notification. I get the notification, but most of the time the recorded video skips and isnt very good. The extender was super easy to set up, took less than 10 minutes. Plugged it in an outlet in my mud room ( the room just before my garage). Bam! Camera now has full signal and records motion detected footage in full hd length! Netgear saved the day!! Going to get the 1200 for my bed rooms in the back of the house!

Great product, Easy to install, gave us a good signal through out our house even the basement where the signal was rely weak until we hook up the N-300.

After 2 delivery attempts I finally received it on my 3rd try. This wifi extender works with my fios router and depends on the number of walls you are trying to extend the signal. Distance from the router is 13ft(first wall), 7ft(second wall), 5ft(3rd wall where the wifi extender is located at [red router light which is expected]. Wifi extender is 25ft away from the Verizon Fios modem with my living room laptop 32.5ft away trying to receive signal from the Fios modem through 4 walls with one of them being 2ft thick.Wifi extender is passing signals through a 2 ft thick wall through the the last wall which is 7.5ft to the last wall. There was no way my my devices in the living room area was going to get wifi signal through 4 walls from the Verizon Fios modem. Sadly Im only getting 10-11Mbps up and down speed in this config due to the 2ft thick wall.

Very easy set up and use. I have an expensive netgear router that could not reach my whole house. I install this and it has better signal than even the router. I dont notice any delay or slow down over my network. I have 60Mb/s internet and it is not quick through out thr house with no dead zones.Easy to hook up. Easy to set up. Powerful. It really works. Just make sure to put it in a location that is receiving a strong signal. Use your cellphone and walk through the area while keeping an eye on the bars. Position the extender in a place where you get full bars. Placing it higher is better.
