This Item helped me with my dead spot in my room. Technical support walked me through to set it up. If you can get a live technical support hang up and try a few more times.Its perfect for my Iphone

Extremely easy to set up! Works better than any other extender weve used. It works good enough that it reaches a second house (on the same property) and it gives enough signal that they could stream videos etc. BUT once we plugged it in, it seemed to make our regular wifi connection poor. The good thing about this one is you can take it places like hotels and it will make a private connection (harder to hack than an open wifi signal). Im not exactly tec savy so when I say easy set up I mean easy lol and Im sure theres 100 other things you can do with this one as it gave me options but I was only interested in using as an extrender. We purchased an Amazon warehouse deal so there werent any directions but as soon as I plugged it in and went on my phone to the extender wifi name it went right to set up! We can stream videos over 400 ft away on a smart TV and our devices so I would say its pretty good. We had a belkin extender, it worked but not good enough to use for videos etc and only worked maybe 200ft at most, was spotty and then the extender stoped working in 8 months.

This device is WORTHY OF 5 STARS!!!! I called COX Communications about their Panoramic Wi-Fi and they wanted $75 one time setup fee and $10.50 per month. That seemed a little excessive to me for a $49 device. I ordered it yesterday and it was delivered today. I purchased this device, because my research showed this was the best device compared to my modem. I have a two story condo and my main modem/router combo is located upstairs in a closet. I wanted to get a better connection downstairs for my Wi-Fi devices - TV, Dish Hopper, Roku, Android Box, Android phone and tablet. The package arrived next day as scheduled. I unpacked it and had a little issue connecting, but one small instruction were left out by the manufacturer. Once I figured that out, it took me minutes to setup and connect. Once connected I performed a speed test and I was getting a really good signal downstairs. The device is sturdy and works great, just as advertised. I noticed others had issues with setup, but it is really easy to setup. Im a technology person and I can easily figure things out on my own. I feel some others gave this product a 1 STAR because of their lack of technology intelligence. LOL I highly recommend this product if you have low internet signal in your home. This WILL fix the problem.

My daughters room (upstairs) is the furthest spot from out router (downstairs) and she always receives a weak signal. Before installing the extender, I measured the signal strength in my daughters room (5.2 mb/sec). I installed the extender in our upstairs hallway and then measured again. The signal from the extender into my daughters room is now 35.3 mb/sec. Installation was very simple per the instructions. Very pleased with the results, I really was not expecting this size of an increase.

Excellent basic router extender. Works great at my parents home who have a D-Link DIR-615. In combination with both, excellent coverage throughout the house.
