> 3 dayMy main reason for getting this was due to a weak signal for my Ring door bell. I also had very weak signal in one of our bedrooms, but I had procrastinated on that one for years. I joined the Ring to the new SSID and took each of our mobile devices into the dead zone bedroom and joined them to the new SSIDs as well. The signal strength is now excellent throughout all of these areas. Wireless signal strength is greatly affected by wood and even more so by glass and metal. I suggest placing this no more than 1 closed door or 1 interior wall away from your router if possible. When planning where to put it, pick the location that is most free from interference. Most of my plugs are behind or under furniture, so thats why the hallway was chosen.I would buy this again.

> 3 dayFollow the directions and it will work well. You cant just snag a Wi-Fi signal out of cyber space. You must first sync the Range Extender to a Wi-Fi router which means you have to gain access to the router.

> 3 dayThe little box is good.My router can only be hooked up at the front of my house and we were getting no signal at the back of the house. I tested the gadget in the outlet furthest away from the router. It picked up the signal , now we have an amazing connection everywhere. Setup was so easy with good instructions , I love that I can connect to it using the same password as the router.Really really recommend.

Reminder:
- The working status of the repeater can refer to its smart indicator light.
- WiFi signal booster is only limited to increase the coverage of the wireless signal, but not to increase the speed of the network.
- When the repeater expands the signal, it does not need to plug in the network cable. It can receive the signal of the router directly by plugging it into the socket, and transmit the wireless signal.
- When the repeater is unplugged or powered off after the setting is completed, it does not need to be reset. The original configuration information has been saved, unless you manually restore the factory state.
