> 3 dayI accidentally threw my old, sturdy trowel out and hated the carbon one in bought to replace it. My mother had purchased this because an avid gardener friend recommended it. The shape of the trowel and the sharp point make it much easier to dig in our hard, clay soil. The handle makes it comfortable to use and gives you good leverage, and it feels sturdy enough to las a long time. I think it is definitely worth the price!

> 3 dayThis is one of those items that feels like it will last forever! It is extremely well made, perfectly ergonomic, and works well with my rocky, rocky soil. Theres not a lot you can say about a trowel, but this works perfectly. Among the three or four trowels we own (my wife is not a believer - yet - so she keeps buying other trowels that just dont work well), this is always the one I look for. We live in what can only be described as an alluvial plain, so our soil is equal parts rock and clay. This has no problem prying those rocks out of the clay. Highest, highest marks!!!

> 3 dayTo be fair Ive only used a handful of garden trowels, most are more on the economy side coming from 3 or 5 piece kits. Each inevitably became dull or succumbed to rust and became useless. I decided to splurge on a garden trowel as it is one of my most frequently used items in the garden, and Im so glad I did! This trowel is awesome, it has stainless steel construction so Ill never have to worry about rust. The edge is also extremely sharp and Ive been able to use it to chop at several roots already. Its sharp enough to split bulbs! Its also more commonly used to remove weeds, does an excellent job of piercing through even compact soil. Its made in the USA and has a lifetime warranty, pretty unbeatable. Do yourself a favor and pick one up!

> 3 dayLOVE the Wilcox trowels. Im incredibly frustrated with rebuying things like tools. I dont have that problem with Wilcoxs products. I have a trowel I purchased years ago from Wilcox that looks pretty much the same as it did then. The single piece construction makes it highly unlikely that Ill ever bend or break the blade and the handle is tough as nails and easily replaced if it should get damaged in some sort of catastrophic gardening event. This Fine Point is made the same way and it has a point that makes penetrating hard soils a snap. The edges are SHARP and should be treated with great respect, but thats the purpose of this trowel - to penetrate these tough or fibrous areas easily. I like the length - its easy to handle and can get in small spaces. The longer pointed tip makes itself useful as well in getting between and closely against items without damage. Like the camping trowel I purchased, a leather sheath is in the future. Protection for the edges and for the gardener. Great quality tools that I hope to have for life.

> 3 dayGood value for specialty shovel. Excellent for planting flowers or bulbs in prepared beds. I wanted the one with a serrated blade down one side but it was 2.5x the price. Able to get a separate tool for less. Otherwise nice long shovel.
