Greater than one weekBought this to replace one I lost after years of heavy use, prying out roots more suited to a shovel! The curved shape means no amount of prying will bend or break this tool. The fine point allows precise removal of small shallow plants. As a native plant enthusiast I use it in volunteer efforts of invasive removal and native plant rescues, and to rid my urban yard of privet, wisteria, roses of sharon, english ivy, honeysuckle, winter creeper, and other invasives. Ive broken many trowels over the years, but never this one. Well worth the money.

> 3 dayThis trowel is better than what you would get at a local hardware store. It is longer and stronger to do you garden work. And I ordered this item from amazon.com and the service was very outstanding.

> 3 dayI have owned Wilcox trowels ever since I put one in my hand. I have been gardening for over 30 years and have been dealing with clay, sandstone, rock, humic soils and everything in between. These are seriously the best garden tools in my bag for digging up around damaged sprinkler heads to clearing out the area around broken irrigation pipes. I use them for planting bulbs, digging, transplanting, removing rocks, cutting through roots and holding myself in place on the side of a hill. I have collected a set for my truck and for my tool shed in the garden and if I were to pick one tool that I could not do without it would be one of these (and my Felco pruners). If you are even remotely interested in gardening or landscape work then you should have a set of these trowels for your tool bag because these babies are the last trowels you will need to buy. They fit the hand like a broken in glove and wash up nicely, never rust and simple to love. I suggest you look at the different sizes and assemble a few that fit your needs. I have at least 2 of the longest handled ones and a few of the short handled units as well as the smaller ones that I use in the greenhouse. The design is awesome and the materials they fabricate from are bar none the best I have seen on the market.
