good quality, fits a lot. We used it for a 5 days trip to avoid checked bags. fitted a lot, but when compare to other Samsonite I have, this one doesnt spin smoothly. FWI using the extra zipper to expand the luggage will make your carry on bag become a checked bag. With the expandable option it didnt fit in the carry on test space before boarding.

I had high hopes for this Samsonite luggage, but right out of the box it feels so lightweight that I know it will be totally beat up during a trip. Ive traveled enough to have seen what luggage goes through and no way this will last more than a trip, if that. And the wheels seem particularly lightweight and vulnerable to handling by baggage handlers; I would expect that these will break off in no time. I also have already noticed the difficulty in lining up the zippers to close the bags. The tops and bottoms of the suitcases flop around, making it very aggravating to get them lined up enough to zip up. Alas, I will be returning these suitcases and trying something else. Disappointing.

This was better than expected! We bought the used version (refurbished) and was a little skeptical of the condition - but this was in perfect condition! Fit everything we wanted, ample room!

Durability deserves ZERO stars. This bag cracked half way through its second use - both trips being relatively short and without heavy bag handling or packing. So disappointed!

Samsonite is famous for its dependable luggage. The Winfield 3 DLX does nothing to tarnish the companys well-deserved reputation. Empty, the DLX is light, strong and good-looking. The inside is split into two sections equally divided by a separator comprised of four zipped pockets; the two sections make it convenient to keep a suit and shirts separate from shoes and toiletries. I use the pocketed separator for socks, underwear, tees. When packed, the DLXs extra large spinner wheels make for easy maneuvering in crowded airport terminals. I also like the integrated lock; and the electric blue color is a standout.

The set works very well, in each size. My only real reservation is the straps to hold each side in.place. they dont work very well. Everything else is as expected.

First time we had hard side luggage and didn’t like that you can’t leave it open on a luggage rack and that half your clothes are on each side. I like a lid opening.
