This Amiibo works just like the American versions, so dont worry about buying it then not having ti be compatible. Its well crafted and a great display piece in addition to getting you Wolf Link in BotW.

I bought this Amiibo thinking that having wolf Link in-game on Breath Of The Wild would be super cool. Wolf Link does help battle enemies but his health is at a low 3 hearts, and he can only really follow you, stay on command, and fight enemies. Still cool!

It works as intended. If buying for Zelda Breath of the Wild, there are far less expensive alternatives (like the cards with chips in them that will even get you a 20-heart wolf-link without being forced to play Twilight Princess on the Wii-U) that can get you the in-game bonuses without breaking the bank.
