> 3 dayI recently needed new blades so I purchased a set of 3 for $4.99 at my local craft store. I needed the blades immediately, so I bought them and decided I would look online to see prices for the future. I found this set of legitimate x-acto brand 40 blades for around 10 bucks. I needed replacement blades that day, so I dont regret buying them. However, I will never purchase blades from a craft store again. Amazon has so many listings that include a lot more blades at a much lower cost. Ive got 40 of them now. Theyre up to par with the quality I expect from x-acto brand. I have many, many handles (I like being able to easily find one without digging around my other craft tools, and some of them are designated for specific crafts and are not used for anything else) from different generic brands and they all have x-acto blades now. The generic ones arent as sharp, and they only stay sharp for a fraction of the time. This was a great purchase and the next time I need to replace blades (hopefully not for a while), I will purchase this set again.

> 3 dayDont buy the cheap blades, youll just end up buying these blades. These are the true deal, Ive bought the inexpensive blades, brands and types before, these beat all of them for quality of product.

> 3 dayThe X-Acto #11 blade in small X-Acto craft knife handles, has been one of the most useful tools in my life, starting at age 9 when I started making balsa wood model airplanes. And more recently is one of the essential tools in building electronic gadgets as a hobby, such as for trimming solder joints, cutting circuit traces for desired signal routing, adjusting component positions, making holes in plastic front panels for mounting switches and LEDs, for example. But replacing the blades has become an increasingly difficult thing to do in recent years, perhaps because of a decreasing interest in people for doing arts and crafts, thus less need for this kind of tool. With this package of 40 new #11 blades, there are more than I probably will need for the rest of my life, assuming the package does not get lost, of course. Was a nice find, thanks.
