11-06-2025Bought it on sale so for the money it was a good value. Everything works, build is good. It does need to be very dark to get a good picture. I used a chromecast and the SD card and both worked fine. I never figured out how to make the files on the SD card run in a particular order, but I was using as a halloween window projector so no big deal. The sound is OK, its loud enough. I also bought a BT xmtr for use with remote speakers which worked out. Get it on sale and youll be happy.

> 3 dayI purchased this projector on sale for use in a screened in patio. Ill start by saying that this projector does not feel cheap. It feels really well made and was actually a little heavier than I expected. The picture quality was amazing when first testing it in my home but then when attempting to adjust the focus and keystone I noticed that the entire screen would not focus at the same time no matter what adjustments were made. The corners always seem a bit out of focus or the center. For what I paid for the projector and what I intend to use it for I didnt think it was worth the effort to return it. The picture is still good be aware you may not get a perfectly sharp picture.

> 3 dayWe put up a 15 foot screen in the backyard and this little projector filled the picture with very bright and accurate color images . the speakers were loud enough to be used outdoor. i plugged in an amazon firestick and the projector remote actually worked with the firestick. it impressed everyone including the neighbors. indoor the the sound is loud but it fights a lot more with the fan noise. if using indoor full time. i suggest a sound bar. Will buy this brand and will suggest this brand in the future

> 3 daySurprising quality from an inexpensive projector. While you cant expect the performance of projectors costing five, ten, or more times the price of this one, you definietly get more than your moneys worth. Best performance is, of course, in a completely darkened room - even a little stray ambent light will wash out the projected picture a little bit, but the visual rewards are abundant when viewing movies, pictures, and other videos in a properly dark room with this projector. Its true native 720p image is crisp and colorful, even at projection distances of 8-10. The built-in speakers provide quite good quality sound for a portable unit. The controls on the player are easy to use, as is the focus and keystone adjustments. It has a very nice, complete set of inputs as well : USB, SD card (full size slot), 2xHDMI, and composite video and stereo audio. The built-in media player - for showing pictures, videos, and playing music from your USB and SD devices - is up to the task, but you may find the media player on your Bluray DVD player or TV outputs better quality images. The projector accepts video sources up to 1080p, though it will display those programs at the projectors native 720p ... but you wont be disappointed at what you see. The remote control is tiny and a little hard to get used to, but works well. The physical build quality is also surprising for the price : the case seems quite solid, well designed, no rattles, bends, twists, or other annoyances, and its got a high-class look-and-feel to it as well. Overall, at the price point offered, youd be very hard pressed to do better than this projector.

> 3 dayArrived and set up only to find the remote control felt like it was melting in my hand and it wouldn’t respond. I heard a horrible ratting inside. After scratching up the plastic while attempting to pop it open, I found the only IC for controlling the remote was never even soldered to the board and was rattling around loose. Would try to return it, but my experience with Amazon says they would make me disassemble everything, return the whole system, and wait four weeks instead of just sending me a damn remote. Additionally, Xiaoya provides no directions to set up their unit with any other remote. Would be nice to just turn it on and off with my FireTV remote, but they don’t tell you any compatible maker to pick from the FireTV list or to use when finding a universal remote. Would be nice if Xiaoya responds to this. I’m sure I am not the only one who wishes it could be controlled by something other than their garbage remote. Picture quality is nice but the keystone correction makes thing exceptionally blurry. I guess I will live with a slight trapezoid shape rather than make my screen unreadable.

> 3 dayThe quality is great! Exceeded my expectations honestly! Was looking for a projector for camping for my kiddos at night and this is perfect. The sound is perfect for this, but for other things you may need a sound bar. Very happy with my purchase

Greater than one weekThis is a good projector in this price, good picture quality but brightness and contrast is not good you need to watch only in dark room.

> 3 dayI tried using it to do a presentation in class - did not work well. The letters were fuzzy, I tried focusing with the dials and from various distances but the letters would not get clear. The letters in the center of the screen were clear but around the edges it was blurry.
