> 3 dayBought this projector for use on my back porch to watch movies outside. I connected a fanless mini pc via HDMI to enjoy my downloaded movie library. I love it! I bought a couple pieces of foam-core from the dollar store to use as a temporary film screen. Perfect! Quiet fan. The speaker seems good enough for my purposes; not exceptionally loud but I have neighbors to consider in my complex. Picture is decent. I have a narrow porch so at about a 6 feet distance it gives me a good 50 or so screen size. Very happy! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an alternative to watching movies on a small laptop or tablet on their porch.

Greater than one weekExcellent picture quality. This is just projecting on a tan wall. Had to use a Roku stick to get sound. Wish it had a brightness option. Very nice picture quality tho.

> 3 dayWith indoor activities with others limited due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this product has come in handy for enabling outdoor movie viewing with others from a safe distance. Picture quality is pretty decent for what you might expect when watching outdoors, but not sure how it might stack up against other indoor projector solutions. I think the black/gold look of it is relatively slick, though it may be a little gaudy for others that my prefer a more traditional device with a solid white/dark color. Got it on sale for <$100 so seemed like a good deal, but if more expensive than that there may be other competitors worth considering as well.

18-11-2024This is a very good projector for the price. For what I need it for it does the job. Ill be using it to facilitate classes. I will mostly be showing powerpoint and a few youtube embedded videos within those powerpoint slides.

Greater than one weekSuch a great investment! No issues with it, and I love that we can use this instead of a TV in our room. The quality is just like a TV and the different settings of brightness are great.

> 3 dayArrived and set up only to find the remote control felt like it was melting in my hand and it wouldn’t respond. I heard a horrible ratting inside. After scratching up the plastic while attempting to pop it open, I found the only IC for controlling the remote was never even soldered to the board and was rattling around loose. Would try to return it, but my experience with Amazon says they would make me disassemble everything, return the whole system, and wait four weeks instead of just sending me a damn remote. Additionally, Xiaoya provides no directions to set up their unit with any other remote. Would be nice to just turn it on and off with my FireTV remote, but they don’t tell you any compatible maker to pick from the FireTV list or to use when finding a universal remote. Would be nice if Xiaoya responds to this. I’m sure I am not the only one who wishes it could be controlled by something other than their garbage remote. Picture quality is nice but the keystone correction makes thing exceptionally blurry. I guess I will live with a slight trapezoid shape rather than make my screen unreadable.

> 3 dayWanted to love it. Actually really loved it the 5 times it was used. The 6th time it never turned on until I unplugged it and plugged it back on multiple times. Outside the refund window and having a hard time contacting seller. Go up in budget and find something you’ll get real use out of.

> 3 dayI looked through a bunch of budget projectors and this one had the best resolution of 800p. Most in this price range are 480p despite being able to take in a 1080p signal. I currently have this hooked up to my 4k fire stick. I have it on my floor in the bedroom pointed at the ceiling and get about 80-90 inches. I have 9 foot ceilings. Only downside is its not a known brand. The fire stick remote cant control power or volume because its not in its huge brand list. Since I use two echo dots as the speakers, it can control that volume.
