This steering wheel lock is easy to install in a few seconds and gives me a better feeling of security. I dont live in the best area of town in an urban area and being broken into or a having a vehicle stolen is more likely to happen around here. It fits in my SUV without having to adjust my seat which I also like and I can install it while still seated before getting out of my vehicle. I like this style over the bar style because I can roll this one up and it fits into my center console so I dont have to find a place to store this when not in use. Like when operating a seatbelt, sometimes I have to play with the alignment angle to get it to insert into the receiving end of the seatbelt but Ive gotten better at it after using it for a while. Also to unlock it you have to be turning the key and pushing the key down into the connector and sometimes it takes a little fiddling, but usually it works on the first try. I did try it out on my passenger seat not attached to my steering wheel a few times just to make sure it wouldnt have any issues before actually using it for a security device and there was a little anxiety the first few attempts that it would be stuck to my seatbelt and not be able to unattach it but it worked and now I dont worry. I definitely recommend checking this out if youre looking for a convenient theft deterrent device alternative to the bar style.

I love it ! Super easy to install I just hope it helps deter someone thinking of starling my truck. Just click it like a seat belt and to remove turn key and push button and it’s off seconds. I recommend this product.

Great ideas. Solid construction. The male price that goes into the anchor portion does not fit well and marred the plastic housing of my seat belt. Had a couple other people try to be sure it wasnt me. Nope. The bell housing is too small. I drive an suv so you may not have the issue. Otherwise I did not have the lock / unlock issues reported in other reviews. Locking and unlocking was easy.

There have been a lot more stories of car thefts in our area lately - and though this item wont stop a really determined thief, they may see it and decide its not worth the extra time to try to steal your car. Its simple to use and attach to your steering wheel, too.

This works like a charm. Thankfully our car has not been stolen. But its very simple to put. The key needs a little trick to it but not bad at all when you get use to it. Very good deal for the price.

I like this much better than one of those bars/clubs that lock your steering wheel. This cable is smaller, less bulky and easier to transport and store. Its very easy to use - just wrap it thru your steering wheel and slip the buckle end thru the loop and connect it to your seatbelt lock. It unlocks with a key (there are three provided).

This concept is actually pretty clever and a little less cumbersome than dealing with a club. I got this for my wifes luxury truck, which (knock on wood) has never been a theft concern, but figured having a visual indicator that theres protection would thwart off would-be carjackers. Easy to attach, the fabric sleeve protects her woodgrain steering wheel from scratches while it us being applied, and the engagement with seat belt latch is flawless....perfect click every time. Key action is smooth and easy too. I have found that this also works well securing certain items in the backseat. I have photo equipment in cases that are locked, and I can simply loop this lock mechanism through the handles of these cases and secure to one of the rear seat belt latches. Of course someone highly motivated could try to snatch the cases off from their secured handles, but most will not go through the trouble (and time) it would take to do so. And I would not leave equipment in vehicle for more than a few hours. So works for me. The point here is that there are multiple uses for this as it works with ALL seat belts in the vehicle. And this comes with 3 KEYS which is awesome.

Good security apparatus, especially if you own multiple cars that you dont drive a ton. Any security is better than none.
