    Greater than one week

Item is pretty solid. But the only issue is, thiefs aint dumb. In every seat belt clipp there is a screw you can easily unscrew which is located below the clip. with a wrench or grip, than can loosen it up & take your car. Is that easy. I suggest getting a club to along with this product.

I love it ! Super easy to install I just hope it helps deter someone thinking of starling my truck. Just click it like a seat belt and to remove turn key and push button and it’s off seconds. I recommend this product.

This lock works on the principle that the steering wheel is held in place by a cable that is clipped into the seat belt, and a key is necessary to push the seat belt release. This is quite easy to use. You loop the cable around your steering wheel, and push the clip end into your seat belt buckle. In my case, I had to push quite hard to get it to click. Not sure if that was just due to my buckle, or if that is always the case. Once clipped in, there was no way to get to the seat belt release button. I cant call this a steering wheel immobilizer because the steering wheel can still be moved with this in place. It does, however, limit the amount it can be turned. It can be turned about 1/4 turn in one direction and 3/4 in the other direction. You can move the seat back to tighten this up, but moving the seat forward will then loosen it. Even this limitation on steering wheel rotation will still be effective since there has to be a hard turn somewhere, and might be required depending on how you park. Should still deter someone from trying to steal your vehicle!

I like this much better than one of those bars/clubs that lock your steering wheel. This cable is smaller, less bulky and easier to transport and store. Its very easy to use - just wrap it thru your steering wheel and slip the buckle end thru the loop and connect it to your seatbelt lock. It unlocks with a key (there are three provided).

This lock is pretty easy to put on. I think its a little less cumbersome than the club-style locks. The cable is very sturdy. I dont think anyone is going to bother to try to cut the cable. Theyd have better luck cutting through the steering wheel instead. I dont know of any add-on steering wheel lock that couldnt be defeated by cutting through the steering wheel. So, the point of these is to make your car a little less attractive than the one next to it. And, the bright red sleeve on the cable calls attention to this lock and hopefully makes the would-be move on. I have plenty of room to get into the car and release the lock after Im in the seat. And, I can easily lock it before leaving the seat when leaving the car Since the release mechanism consists of inserting the key and unlocking a rod that pushes down to release the seatbelt lock button, I was a little concerned that this might be a point of failure or difficult to manage. But, its not. The rod that presses down on the seat belt button to release the lock, is fairly wide and solidly contacts the button.

I brought this for my Kia and it works great. It’s not bulky like a club, but works great. Comes with three keys.

I mounted a cover for comfort on my steering wheel and the original steering wheel lock no longer fits. This looked as if the size of the grip on the steering wheel didnt matter. It doesnt and its easy to use. You just wrap it through a gap on the wheel and take the other end and click it into the seat belt buckle just like a seat belt. Reaching the seat belt buckle required a bit of a pull as the cable is so stiff but there was no problem. It unlocks just like you unfasten your seat belt: by pushing down on the button. In this case, the button is locked so you have to turn the key and then push down and lift it off. The only negative is minor: at 20°F (-7°C) the cable gets really stiff giving a bit of a workout to remove or put on. 5 Stars
