This lock appears well-built, sturdy and reliable, which makes it an effective deterrent against theft. The high-strength braided steel wire appears very durable, which means it can withstand a lot of force and pressure without breaking or bending. Due to its unique design, I think it can fit on almost any type of steering wheel, making it a great option for a wide range of vehicles. Overall, this is a great investment for anyone looking to enhance the security of their vehicle.

We live in a very rural area and people are constantly reporting the theft of their ATVs and UTVs. I keep my Mule in the barn, but if someone really wanted to steal it Im sure theyd make an attempt. I tried using The Club, but due to the size and design of the steering wheel it was very awkward to get on and off. This lock loops around the steering wheel, then locks into the seatbelt latch. Im sure a determined thief would find a way to thwart it, but between keeping it behind closed doors and this lock, maybe theyll just move on down the road.

This device is an excellent deterrent for thieves trying to steal Kia and Hyundai.

Good security apparatus, especially if you own multiple cars that you dont drive a ton. Any security is better than none.

This lock is pretty easy to put on. I think its a little less cumbersome than the club-style locks. The cable is very sturdy. I dont think anyone is going to bother to try to cut the cable. Theyd have better luck cutting through the steering wheel instead. I dont know of any add-on steering wheel lock that couldnt be defeated by cutting through the steering wheel. So, the point of these is to make your car a little less attractive than the one next to it. And, the bright red sleeve on the cable calls attention to this lock and hopefully makes the would-be move on. I have plenty of room to get into the car and release the lock after Im in the seat. And, I can easily lock it before leaving the seat when leaving the car Since the release mechanism consists of inserting the key and unlocking a rod that pushes down to release the seatbelt lock button, I was a little concerned that this might be a point of failure or difficult to manage. But, its not. The rod that presses down on the seat belt button to release the lock, is fairly wide and solidly contacts the button.

First a caveat. A determined and skilled auto thief will steal your car if they have the opportunity and time. That said, anything you can do to make a thiefs job harder and move on to another target is worthwhile if the deterrence is highly visible and easy to use. The wheel lock fits both criteria. As illustrated in the pictures, the lock is highly visible. Anyone casing your car will immediately notice the device. The lock is easy to install. Just loop it around the wheel and back through the cable until locked via the seatbelt. No longer than 30 seconds to affix the device. Unlocking is just as simple. The cable appears strong enough to provide sufficient resistance and add time to any attempt to remove the device. As an added bonus, the device matches my interior.

Im going to use this to lock my golf cart when out to dinner, etc. The lock fits perfectly in my (standard) set belt locks. There is plenty of room to loop the cable around the steering wheel, then lock in the seat belt lock. Cable is quite thick, and this should provide enough of a deterrent to move on to another golf cart if someone is looking to steal one. When off, it doesnt take up much room and can be stashed in a reasonable sized compartment. The key to the lock is quite big (about the size of a car key), so its a somewhat bulky addition to the key chain. Also, the unlock process of pushing the button while turning the key takes a bit of practice.

This lock works on the principle that the steering wheel is held in place by a cable that is clipped into the seat belt, and a key is necessary to push the seat belt release. This is quite easy to use. You loop the cable around your steering wheel, and push the clip end into your seat belt buckle. In my case, I had to push quite hard to get it to click. Not sure if that was just due to my buckle, or if that is always the case. Once clipped in, there was no way to get to the seat belt release button. I cant call this a steering wheel immobilizer because the steering wheel can still be moved with this in place. It does, however, limit the amount it can be turned. It can be turned about 1/4 turn in one direction and 3/4 in the other direction. You can move the seat back to tighten this up, but moving the seat forward will then loosen it. Even this limitation on steering wheel rotation will still be effective since there has to be a hard turn somewhere, and might be required depending on how you park. Should still deter someone from trying to steal your vehicle!

Well, nothing is ever full proof. This will definitely give thieves paws when it comes to them trying to steal your car in theory it could be cut through but these are not gonna wanna go through all that trouble so they will probably move onto the next car. Seems to be made of quality materials in the keys, fit nicely and work the lock mechanism nicely.
