> 24 hourThis keyboard is great if you dont game at a high level. Unfortunately, the keyboard polling rate is locked to some number that is way lower than 1000hz, making key inputs less precise. The picture for the software on this amazon page showed you could change it, however in the actual software you can not. This keyboard doesnt support QMK either, so your options are much more limited in what you can do with it, as well as not being able to bypass that polling rate issue.

> 24 hourTL;DR 10/10 amazing value keyboard with undeniably amazing RBG. Well built, solid construction, responsive switches, great feeling OEM profile PBT keycaps with clear legends and great shine-through. Stabilizers aren’t horrible and have some factory lubing, but grab some Krytox 205G0 to lubricate the stabs. Another reviewer mentioned that dielectric grease is a no go as the low profile exposes the stabs to more dust than high profile boards, gumming up the grease, but I have 0 experience. This is my first actual mechanical keyboard aside from my numpad so take this liberally if you’re looking to add this to your mech collection. I have been lurking for months on keyboard subreddits, youtube channels, and price checking every site I could find. Any comparable keyboard to this is over double the price (except 1 KPRepublic board) and you will likely have to wait for things to come in stock. This is ready to go, right now, with 1 day shipping to some people. - KPRepublic ZeeYoo 65% - $78.90 but it’s a 65% so keycaps will be hard to find outside of KPRepublic, and feel a little cramped IMO. Oh and shipping takes 1 month, or 2-3 weeks if you express ship. - Epomaker GK68XS Acrylic (with Bluetooth) - $175 barebones, $115 from Banggood with coupon, $90 case only if you want to do a conversion of your existing GK68 bumping the total price to $195 - Tofu65 - $108 just for the case no PCB, $166 barebones from aliexpress, oh and you’ll have to learn how to solder because theres no hotswap option. - Womier K66 - The 65% little brother to this board is $76, but has ABS keycaps, south-facing switches (good for cherry profile keycaps to prevent interference, but shine-through and RGB brilliance will be affected), and no page up/page down keys. You’ll also have to sacrifice the secondary legends if you replace the keycaps, and personally finding side-lit or even south oriented legends for 65% keycaps drove me up a wall because while there are many color options, none of them are pudding style. There was an option for reverse pudding keycaps (side-lit legends, clear top) but I don’t know about making my keyboard look like a midi controller. With some very standard mods, stabilizer & band-aid modding, then switch lubing & filming if you really felt like it ($20 for supplies), this board could easily sound just as amazing as it looks. The RGB is amazing. No I haven’t figured out how to do solid colors but the effects on this board are enough to keep me content for a lifetime. Reactive modes, non-reactive modes, color patterns and waves, it it really helps me see my desk in my dark apartment and also really brings me joy to use every day. Check out some youtube reviews to get all the functions as the included directions do not have them all. Get this board if you’re looking for something RGB, smaller than a full size, and easily customizable. The keycaps are PBT and will not fade, albeit they are thin and not very THOCC, but enough to hold you over until you get your pudding keycaps in, Gateron switches provide more value than any other switch as Cherry is far too overpriced and Otemus would likely make the hotswap Otemu only, and it doesn’t feel cheaply made at all to where I have concerns about the build quality or durability. I am so amazed, excited, and impressed with this as my first mechanical keyboard after months of checking out group buys, r/mechmarket, and watching from TaeKeyboards to the Dredgen Project, this absolutely provides a great value and great experience. The hotswap PCB and standard key sizes make customization very simple and I could not be happier. I only wished I grabbed a wrist rest as the keyboard sits a little high and the lack of any incline makes the typing angle harder on the wrists.

> 24 hourI ordered this larger, sturdier keyboard as a replacement for another I had purchased within the week before, that came with a faulty FN key and made secondary functions useless, which was an incredible issue as the keyboard only had 60% of its keys. Within FOUR DAYS of using this keyboard, for simple work functions I would like to add, nothing intensive, it broke. The RGB’s panicked, shut down, only returned the rim lightning to “normal” after unplugging and replugging, and left the actual keyboard completely and utterly unusable. NONE of the keys worked. I tried pushing reset buttons, pulled the cord again, let the keyboard sit, attempted to utilize the company software, NOTHING fixed it. For $80 before tax, this was beyond upsetting, an incredible waste of time, and has left me in a bind with my working capabilities as I don’t have another readily available keyboard to use in its place. I should mention, this was on a Windows computer, not a Mac. I will be returning ASAP.

> 24 hour(I got gateron reds and I purchased CUSTOM KEYCAPS) 1. You have to push the cable into the keyboard with a l o t of force. When the keyboard arrived, I tried for 15 minutes to get it to work but it didnt. I thought my keyboard was defective, so I exchanged it. Turns out I wasnt pushing the micro cable in hard enough... lol. 2. Ive been using this keyboard since March 30th, so Ive been using it for two and a half months. Within this time of use, I have seriously noticed the keyboard bending inwards. I included this in the second photo, but I do not know if it is very noticeable. For reference, I play but not exclusive to rhythm games, but rhythm games do require me to smash my keys. For nearly $100, I was not expecting such a cheap frame. Aside from those two issues I have no complaints! The gateron reds sound great in my opinion, the RGB functions are limited but adequate, and the stock backlit keycaps look great on the keyboard. Id recommend if you are harsh with your keyboard to stick some fabric in between your keyboard and desk at the top of the keyboard just so it doesnt bend as mine did. lol.

> 24 hourI like its small footprint of the keyboard and being able to change the switches to fit my need for office and occasionally ARPG play. I ordered the red switch version and the keystroke is very light and linear. Im getting used to it now though I was looking for something more tactile but didnt find much information about the differences between the blue, brown, and red switches. So some research of the switches is necessary if you are looking into this keyboard. I like the build-in chroma modes which do not require an installation of software. The color of the LED backlight is beautiful when flashing through the acrylic keyboard frame. I wish there is a way to increase the brightness of the LEDs behinds the keycaps independently from the accent lights around the keyboard which tend to be a little too bright.

> 24 hourGot this so I could change the switches to some lavenders. For some reason the browns were kind of hard to pull out but now the lavenders can pop in and out with ease so I think it was the switches and not the board.

> 24 hourthis is a fun little introduction to mechanical keyboards! all mechanical keyboards should be considered a project though (which is the fun part in my opinion). my first order of business is swapping in a few custom key caps, then i’m going to get to work making the clicks sound a little more lower pitch. fun colors and ready out the box, what more could you want for this price?

> 24 hourThe F1 key LED doesnt light up on the one I received. Adjusting the lighting is not straight forward as it should be. After digging online I found the software and was able to customize it with a per key lighting setting instead of global built in effects. I took one star off mostly for the key that would not light. Otherwise for the price this is good for a decent keyboard that is among the brightest available. Keys are quiet with a soft touch.

> 24 hourI am using this keyboard to type this review lol, I have been using this keyboard for about 6 months now and have had 0 issues the LEDS show no sigh of weakness yet. It has a nice weight to it and durability, for the price I have nothing to complain about.

> 24 hourThis keyboard works, is already nice stock, and I personalized it to my preference by replacing the Gateron Blue with Kailh BOX Jade, and the stock OEM shimethru keycaps with XDA Manekineko keycap set. I read a review that apparently, due to the hotswap nature, the keys and keyswitches fall out of the board if you flip it upside down- this does not at all happen for me. If anything, the keyswitches are to me quite firmly in there- there are some little recesses in the acrylic for the keyswitch hooks to fit into. I suspect the other reviewer may have improperly installed their switches, or used very worn out or misshapen switches. I saw in another reviewer complain the boards plastic case is flimsy and will flex if you twist it. It does flex a little when I twist it but thats such a weird and deliberate action- the cases slight flex is just not an issue at all for daily typing and use. Maybe this is a problem if you bring your keyboard with you in a flexible bag? But I feel the reports of this keyboard being too flexible are very exaggerated. I noticed the stock images show different keycap fonts on the keycaps. I attached a pic of my stock keycaps to show the font used on the version I received in Feb 2021. It is a much cleaner font than the kind of ugly font you see on most cheap shinethrough keycaps.
