> 3 dayI go through a new coffee cup/thermos in less than 6 months if Im lucky. I work in a heavy train repair shop with hard concrete floors and when an item is dropped from waste high ,full of coffee it doesnt always survive the fall. Between the sturdiness of the rambler thermos and the build of this lid I think itll be a while before I order a new lid. Kudos to Yeti for making such a solid product, and no I dont work for the company.

> 3 dayI like this lid! It turned my 18 oz Rambler bottle into a great commuter mug (which doubles as a self defense weapon! Its super heavy and strong!). The original lid was no good to me if driving or on public transit where I only have one hand free. This lid is very quick and easy to open, sips easily, closes easily. Its hard to open one handed but can be done, especially if you can set it down while youre doing it. A HUGE perk is that it far easier to disassemble and wash than any other travellers mug lid Ive seen; there no weird cracks and crevases that you cant clean. Here are the important PROS: - Fully leakproof - Very durable - Easy to clean (Dishwasher safe, too!) - Quick to open/close, just 1/4 turn - Insulates pretty well - works on any of the YETI Bottles (but NOT on their tumblers! Take note!!) Here are the CONS: - Big and heavy (like all things YETI) - Tricky, but not impossible, to open one-handed - Might forget to close it and spill, no indicator when open or closed - Pricey! Felt like a lot to spend on just a lid, but I expect it will last a LONG time - Wish this was the default lid that came with all YETI Rambler bottles! Again, I love my YETI and look forward to my biceps getting bigger as a result of hefting the substantial weight regularly! I dont think it will ever wear out so losing it is my only concern fear.

> 3 dayMy only complaint is the lack of to for your nose. Seems like its always getting bumped by the centerpiece of the lid.

> 3 dayThis is a replacement cap. The original has held up well, but I started noticing a weird smell/taste in my coffee even though I wash the mug and lid assembly every night after use. Well, there are (3) rubber gaskets in the lid assembly. They are a little difficult to remove, but when I did I found mold and nasty stuff underneath, so I got the new lid. Now that I know, I can be more mindful about trying to get those off and cleaned. They blended in so well and are on there so tight I never even thought of taking them off to clean—my own fault.

> 3 dayPurchased the Yeti rambler for my mom for Christmas. She loved it but having arthritis in her hands it was hard for her to keep screwing on/off the lid to take a drink. This works much better for her as she only has to screw this lid on once and then just do the half turn throughout the day when she wants to take a drink. Works great and when in the locked position, it does not drip or spill.

> 3 dayThis was a great purchase for my bottle. It is easy to take apart to clean (make sure to take the seals apart when cleaning). Dishwasher safe. Keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. Very easy to drink from while driving or out walking. Seals 100%.
