Easy to assemble and use. Just wish it were a little more sturdy. I had to use duct tape to keep it in place

This product worked well and fit perfectly on my vertical slider window. The added insulation really helped keep out noise and weather.

The edges are uneven so there’s no way to avoid having a gap between the window & the insert . The insert that connects the hose to the exhaust outlet doesn’t click into the hole . I was forced to use duct tape to keep the hose in place & there’s still gaps . All in all , with some fiddling, it does the job . But for a few pieces of flimsy plastic the price is kinda steep. If you are remotely handy & have a power saw you can make your own for less $ & it will probably look better & be sturdier.

I have a large sliding front window in my Livingroom where the A/C has the exhaust hose access. The original pieces were fine for a regular sized window but with these pieces I could use the cooler in this room or use my glass sliding door in another room. While its all plastic (they all are) it was easy to put together and with some weather proofing strips for the sides, its all good. (I just wish it was less expensive).

Not really universal. i have a Toshiba portable unit that I wanted another connection for. Cant find one online, sadly this did not work.

Sometimes after market products are significantly better than the OEM version and this is one of those times. I bought a Black and Decker portable A/C unit and while the unit is working beautifully, the window kit was a nightmare to install. You literally need a hand saw to adjust the length to fit the window (per the manufacturer instructions) and after that its going to be a nightmare to get it out of the window come fall. I was looking for a 2nd window kit, to be able to use the A/C unit in a different space in my home, when I found this beauty. It adjusts like a dream and all be extremely simple to remove and then to reinstall when the seasons change. Not all brands are created equal but Im truly loving this product!

This product worked great. I was originally hesitant to purchase this product after reading all the reviews but I decided to try my luck anyways and with great surprise it worked perfectly! This product was easy to assemble and instal. It’s very sturdy and was compatible with my DeLonghi portable air conditioner (shown in photo). Be sure to measure the diameter of your exhaust tube, and back of ac where exhaust tube connects before purchasing either kits (5” or 5.9”). I’m not sure why others needed tape to attach their exhaust tube into the window insert, if you gently thread it into the window insert it should attach and stay connected with no problems.
