Greater than one weekEasy to install and just as sturdy as I would expect. Lots of reviews saying this is flimsy, but I disagree. I would suggest buying that foam weather stripping to help seal the cracks around the panel and window. My window is about 50”+ in height and this fit with room to spare.

> 3 dayThis product works fine for my sliding picture window only thing the seal of window to vent there’s a large gap making it less effective. Otherwise for the price can’t beat it!

01-06-2025The SereneLife a/c unit would not install in a standard double hung American style window. This is a life and frustration saver. However the exhaust host can slip off if not properly secured. I recommend the purchase of a 6 (six inch) standard worm drive hose clamp to keep the hose secured to the outside vent. That is an additional $4-5 but worth it

> 3 dayThis 6 wide portable A/C window kit is better designed and stiffer than those plentiful (and cheap) 4 versions. However, the adapter to a 6 exhaust hose is flimsy and I found it necessary to reinforce with duct tape. In spite of that deficiency, this is the best I have found so am rating it a 5 star.

> 3 dayI had to put duct tape on the tab that keeps the hose attached to the window kit to prevent it from popping out with the slightest movement. Not sure Im keeping it to be honest with you.

> 3 dayThis was a great and easy replacement piece for our AC unit in a pinch. It was really easy to install. The only thing is that the vent tube falls out of place quite easily, we ended up having to duct tape it in place. Worked totally fine after that.
