> 24 hourAs of this writing, Im a 41-year-old man who already has an AS in software engineering; BS in business management; and MBA. I earned the AS back in 98 at a brick-and-mortar school. My other degrees were at online-dominant schools. All my submissions were typed and submitted electronically, all presentations done virtually, all professor interactions done via videoconference. Most testing was proctored online. I bring this up not to be braggadocios in the least, but to indicate that its been TWENTY YEARS since Ive been on a school campus. I decided for a career change to nursing, so here I am, back on campus 20 years later, needing an actual backpack to carry physical books, and notebooks, and binders, and pencils, and pens, and other accoutrements of on-campus student life. Oh, my! Being frank here, I didnt know what to even look for, so I picked the first thing that came up in search results. Serendipity, I love you because I made a good decision. This backpack is beyond spacious. Im taking full load of classes, so even beyond my required textbooks, I have a crap ton of items to tote around. Two notable points: 1.) I have never felt I was running low on space. No matter how much I cram in here, there always seems to be room for yet more. If anything, there might be too much space, because I occasionally find I have to search around for items. (I guess this wouldnt be an issue if I remembered where I packed them.) 2.) Despite the large load, I never feel encumbered. I have zero clue how they designed the backpack for this, but whether Im carrying it on one shoulder or both, I simply dont feel bogged down. This is important because my classes are scattered all across the campus, which means a lot of walking. The last thing I need is getting to class hobbled over in back pain. I also only realized the USB port after I purchased it. How cool is that! I can buy a portable charger, which I will, and keep my phone or any other USB-friendly device charged while Im at school all day. Even though I did zero research to get it, Im happy with my haphazard purchase. Its made college life that much easier.

> 24 hourSo far I am extremely happy with the size and quality of this bag. I have been using a Targus for 12 plus years that has been amazing with the abuse I put it through daily. It finally started to tear so it had to be replaced. I was skeptical that this bag would hold everything that I had in the Targus as it was a big bag. The day I got it I took everything I had in my old bag and moved it to this bag and it all fit and fit well and was actually more organized. I love the pocket selection and placement. The carry straps are super comfortable and makes the bag actually seem lighter than it did before. I have only had this bag about two weeks now so we will see if it holds up to the daily use I put it through. If quality proves to be subpar for some reason I will update my review. So far I have nothing but great things to say after 2 weeks.

> 24 hourTHE GOOD: 1. This backpack has a lot of space and a lot of pockets. The pockets are well thought-out and useful. There are plenty of dividers to keep things organized. They seem to be in all the right places. The laptop padding is minimal, but sufficient, and there is a safety strap that you can use to prevent your laptop from sliding out (good for airports). 2. The shoulder straps are wide and hold well. They can handle a lot of weight. Even when the backpack is loaded and heavy, it sits comfortably on my shoulders. 3. There is a rugged USB port on the exterior that links to a cable inside the backpack that you can plug into a battery. This can be useful if you want to keep your backpack zipped up and still have access to the battery. THE BAD: 1. The plastic handle on the top of the backpack split within days of traveling with it. Even though there is a steel cable inside of the handle, the plastic is not shaped properly to handle much load. I would avoid using it when the backpack is fully loaded and heavy. Instead, use the shoulder straps. When I complained to Nancys Shop about the broken strap, they replaced it -- Im very happy about that. 2. There is an external USB port that allows you to charge devices while the backpack is zipped up. That port has a cable inside the backpack that you plug into a USB battery -- and that cable tends to get tangled up with other items in the bag. 3. Because of the lightweight material used, the opening flaps can flop around when pockets are loaded and this sometimes makes it difficult to zip up the backpack. OVERALL: Overall the design is good. At this price, the backpack might not use the best materials, but it can still provide superb organization and maintain a light weight.

> 24 hourI love the huge amount of storage and wide variety of compartments this back pack has. I was very impressed with how well thought out the design is. The only criticism or room for improvement I have found is the need to have a chest strap with snap buckle that goes between the two main shoulder carrying straps. When the bag is loaded up and you have it on your shoulders the load causes tends to pull the straps farther apart and it isn’t as comfortable as it could be, especially if you have it on your back for a while and are going far. As far as the service and packaging, I give an excellent rating!

> 24 hourThis bag has plenty of room for storage and fits under airline seats. While the manufacturer states that one can unzip the bag and lay it flat for the screening of the laptop, I was made to take my laptop out each time. This feature was important to me, as I thought it would cut down on the things I had to remove to get through airport security. Unfortunately, it didnt help me there, but it is a good, spacious bag. The USB port is useful. The pocket that holds the battery charger was perfect for my 24.600 battery charger. Lots of pockets on the outside, which made getting to items I used regularly very easy. Id recommend this bag.

> 24 hourMy husband has been doing a lot of traveling for work and asked me to find him a new laptop backpack. He is very particular and I was hoping for the price point this would be a good bag. He loves it. He called me from his travels to thank me and tell me how how much he liked it. We looked at some more expensive bags, but we needed it in just a few days so we had limited options. This worked out well. It arrived in just 3 days and he loved it!

> 24 hourI can comfortably fit 2 laptops, their peripherals, a 2 inch texbook, large headphones, some clothes, 2 water bottles/drinks, and miscellaneous stationaries all at the same time. Was allowed to take said backpack as a carryon since it was right under the size requirements. I never ended up used the usb extender in any prolonged manner so I cant comment as to its longevity. Top handle is solidly built. 5/5 Additional thoughts: Backpack was a bit heavy after putting it all in. Maybe have a buckle to connect the 2 shoulder straps together so it is easier to carry.

> 24 hourI walk about 90 minutes per day. the back straps have this handy loop that I stick my fixed bladed knife in, and the backpack sits on a factory floor for 8 hours a day. no sign of wear and tear so far and Ive had it for quite a while. the USB charging port works way better than I thought it would, even going through rain which I thought for sure would ruin it didnt-- I had thought it did at first but it turns out my phone wire is just a trash heap. recommended wholeheartedly-- the only thing that would make it better is if you buy it and goober it up with some dumb looking patches to personalize it.
