This tray is a miracle, so well designed! I leave food out for 2 stray cats and this time of the year ants would always get into it immediately. I have been using this a couple of weeks and have not had any problems with ants. It is a very good buy and highly recommend it for anyone who may have the problem I had, it works great ~~ no water, no chemicals, just have to put the food bowl on the tray.

They have any proof dog bowls if that’s what you’re looking for, I bought the tray. You have to make sure the surface your putting it on is “flat”. There can’t be carpet that makes gives the ants any leverage to climb on. Also one day... I had ants in my dog’s food and freaked out, turns out they used DUST because it got dusty and I didn’t clean the tray! So keep it clean! Ants are smart. I hate ants.

I live in the tampa bay area and I owned this product for over 2 months and still no aunt in the cat food, I just wished it could be a bit bigger that way I could put a cat feeder on it when i go away. I just looked at one its about 12,5 inches at the base on the long side. So something like 14, 15 inches circumference would work well I think.

Love it I do cat rescue and I leave food 24/7 for the cats I have 15.Realize these kitties Are in and out because I do foster care and rescue don’t want you thinking I’m cat lady lol Anyway since I started using the plate I have no ants zero zilch I can just love this and I just bought two more

After using this tray for 3 weeks, I really save time on cleaning my dogs bowl because of the endless ants. Especially since there are ants everywhere now while the weather is getting hoter in CA. This thingy absolutely saves me and my dogs life, good stuff and we love it!
