Yeah, no, dont think this really works, see picture. We will try for a round two after I wash the unit, but doubtful of its effectiveness.

I thought the bowl came with it

We have been fighting with tiny black ants for about two months, and have tried many different products. This one works very well as long as the cat doesnt knock the the bowl partway off the tray or push the tray all the way up against something else. But as long as the bowl stays on the tray and the tray isnt touching anything else, it really does work like magic. We like the fact that it doesnt need water. So this one was expensive, but definitely worth it.

Complete waste of money !

Make sure your food dish has a non-skid bottom, so it doesn’t get pushed off the tray. Works as described.

I live in the tropics and the ants were so bad at the food dish my dogs wouldn’t eat. This solved my problem. Great product.

I HATE ants & I LOVE this!!! It seems like this has been the only thing that kept the ants out of my dogs food bowl.

I have not seen one ant in my cats bowl since I started using this product. For me it has worked and I am very happy with my purchase.

We were amazed when this actually worked for awhile. The ants never made it to the top of the tray.. and we have a lot of ants after our cats food bowl. After a few months though, they must have figured it out and it no longer keeps them off. I tried washing and sanitizing the tray to remove any pheremones, but it just isnt working anymore.

This really works. I feed the outdoor cats and ants in the bowls was a big problem. I have used this all summer and never had ants get in the bowl I put on top of it. I would definitely recommend this product.
