> 3 dayIve owned a Rollo Thermal printer for several years. I dont ship things regularly anymore but may use it once or twice a month. I was interested in their wireless model (that still has be connected to power) but it wasnt worth $280 to ditch the USB cord. When this YVF wireless printer arrived, I compared it to my existing Rollo and its almost identical. I uploaded several pictures to show the difference (YVF is black and Rollo is gray). Even down to the screw placement, beep sounds, etc its more or less a clone. Some of the plastic shell has some insignificant differences but Im sure that the internals are probably a direct copy for the most part. I did find it a little odd that the drivers are housed in a Google drive so it feels kind of sketchy downloading and installing on Windows. Once installed, it seemed like there might a slight delay in printing the label but I cant say for sure that that its the drivers or maybe just something going on with my computer the day I tested it. The quality of the labels are just as good as the Rollo so no issues there. I printed a label with the mobile app and it came out very quickly and with great quality. Its nice to be able to put the YVF printer somewhere other than my desk to free up some space. Its also cool that it came with a label spool / holder that works with either flat or spools of labels. Nice touch to have that included. The best thing is this one currently costs less than 1/3 of the price of the comparable Rollo model ($80 vs $280). Even if it goes back to its full price of $140, its still a steal at 1/2 the cost of a Rollo. If youve never used a thermal printer to use for UPS labels or other shipping labels, its a game changer. No smearing, super quick printing, no ink to replace, etc. Its just so much nicer than using a traditional printer. You cant go wrong with this for $80 (or even $140). Its well worth the price and Im very pleased with it so far.

> 3 dayThis printer is great if you print a lot of labels! I used to print out the labels on a regular printer and then cut them out and tape them, this is so much easier! Ive been using it for a few days and its been great so far. It takes a little time to set up but once you are done its fairly easy to use. In order to print the labels, you do have to save them to your phone and then print. When I turn the printer on it doesnt take long to connect either. Highly recommend! Worth the money.

> 3 daySimple printer to use. Didnt have any issues connecting with it. I dont use it frequently, so I cant say how it would handle large quantities of prints, but for me, its great.

> 3 dayIf you read the review that I originally posted, I talked about how three of us couldn’t get the printer to work correctly. First of all, I want to say that the customer service for this company is absolutely stellar and outstanding! They have been in contact with me continuously to help me to figure out what it is that’s going on with The printer and why it didn’t work. They even sent us more labels so that we could keep trying to get it to work! This morning we decided to hook it up to a different computer and to see if operating it that way made it work. We started at the beginning of the operation manual, which, by the way, is very thorough and its description of how to connect it to Windows or Mac computers. We went step-by-step, downloading the driver from the website to installing the paper and running a test print from a Word and Adobe file. We didn’t have any eBay labels to print right at the moment so we weren’t able to do it from there, but it worked just fine printing out both a Word and a PDF file from those programs. After some research this morning. I found that there are settings on eBay that need to be done in order for the label to properly Move to the thermal printer. If, for no other reason, the customer service of this company to ensure the quality of their product, and the care of their customers is worth the effort to get this product running for your business Having said all that, thank you for your customer service and I would recommend this product for sure now!

Greater than one weekThis shipping label printer is a fantastic option for businesses and individuals who need to print shipping labels quickly and easily. This compact and portable printer is wireless, which means that it can be used with any device with bluetooth support. Its thermal printing technology ensures that the labels are crisp, clear, and smudge-free. It is a huge advantage over traditional inkjet printers, as it eliminates the need for expensive ink cartridges and ensures that your labels are always legible. Another great feature of this printer is its compact size. Its small enough to fit on a desk or shelf without taking up too much space, making it perfect for small businesses or home offices. Despite its small size, this printer is incredibly powerful and can handle a large volume of printing without any issues. Its easy to use, produces high-quality labels, and is extremely portable. The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey, but the quality and convenience make it well worth the investment.

> 3 dayI was able to set up the printer fairly quickly and it printed just fine right from the beginning on a 4x6 label. I made a label in ppt and saved it as a 4x6 PDF, then printed it via blue tooth. The instructions that come with the printer could be clearer, but I got it regardless. It looks like there are plenty of you-tube videos to help if there are any questions. Eventually I will be printing some round labels. Havent tried it yet, but you-tube says you can do it...so Ill give it a shot.

> 3 dayFirst, it comes with an excellent instruction manual and a flash drive with the driver and instructional videos. It also comes with a paper feeder and some starter labels. You don’t need any special apps to use this printer (from a desktop). I had a lot of frustration trying to use this for the first time, but I think that’s an issue with trying to print from a pdf label in general. So, I tried printing from a Snip of the pdf and it’s barely legible, even though the preview looks good. Then, I printed a sample label and the quality looks perfectly fine. My conclusion is that as long as you have a properly formatted label, this printer works as it should. That leaves my only real complaint- the app doesn’t recognize the printer, as far as I can tell. I followed the instructions in the manual and even watched the video. Unless there’s a step I’m somehow missing, the app just doesn’t seem to work with the model of printer I received. Being able to print from my phone would make this printer a lot more useful, so that’s a pretty big negative for me.

Greater than one weekThis is a lifesaver for my small business. I got tired of having to connect my label printer to the power outlet and then getting another cable to my computer. This solves one of those problems and it’s sufficient enough. The label printer connects to my computer fast without additional software to install and it takes 2 seconds and I’m good to go to ship. Plus is it’s thermal so I don’t need to buy ink refills either. A must have!

> 3 dayThis is my 2nd Thermal Label printer. But... it is by far my favorite. This is a 100% standalone unit. Its sad that I have to point that out. But my other Thermal Label printer only works with the MFG app, and you have to sign up for an account on their cloud server in order to use their printer. As far as I can tell, this unit does not require anything thats not included in the box... with the exception of additional labels. I didnt even have to go to the MFG web site to download the drivers. There is a little USB drive in the box with all the drivers I needed for Windows. Installation was easy. There were parts of the instructions that werent completely clear. Its not obvious that you need the drivers from the USB drive. In the package contents, its referred to as a U-Drive. The instructions then later say to copy the drivers from the U-disk. But thats being a bit picky. That was the only part of the installation that caused me any issue -- knowing where to find the drivers. Integration with Windows is almost 100% perfect. The first labels I wanted to print on are 2.25x1.25. When I installed these and printed a Test page, the word Test straddle the gap between two consecutive labels. I assumed that meant that the print driver didnt understand the label size, or had advanced the roll of labels beyond the perforation. After a few failed attempts, I tried just printing a label that was filled top to bottom and left to right with text. The label printed perfectly. So, Im guessing theres an issue with Windows Test Page software. My other label printer required the roll of labels to be inside the printer. My roll is too big to fit inside, so I was having to cut the amount of labels I wanted to print. This printer has external label holder. I wasnt actually expecting to get an external label holder. The external label holder is awesome and certainly keeps the roll of labels organized. The software thats available from the MFGs website (ShipPrinter) is a bit weak. You can add a barcode to a label, but you cant actually modify the contents of the barcode. Fortunately, I dont need to use the application. The Android app is just as lame. Again, you can enter a barcode, but you have to type the contents. Theres no way to import the contents of a spreadsheet into a label. That makes the application almost useless.
