> 3 dayThis is hard not very flat stock. I have no way to determine the alloy but it is highly magnetic. The stock appears to be cold rolled 3mm stock that was sheared hard which I find a little surprising. It’s hard enough that a file will scratch it but not really bite and my Opinel Steel blade will scratch it easily. The stock is not very flat with visible curves likely due to the shear operation. Seems like a good bet for a high carbon steel option for a variety of uses. 4.5 Stars as it seems to be everything it says it is but could be flatter.

> 3 daySteel was carefully and securely wrapped in oil paper. A few scratches on some of the bars. The dimensions (see pictures) are slightly less than the 12 x 1/2 x 1/8. Two bars were pretty straight, but the third one had a slight bow. These bars are going to be cut, ground, heat treated, etc, so none of theses things IMHO are major issues, but I point them out for anyone who is relying on specific dimensions for their project.

> 3 dayGood steel! Personally, I think they’re best to cut up and layer for some pattern welding, which is how I’ll be using them. They’re awfully thin at 1/8, but if you don’t take anything off the spine, you could make a decent smaller blade. They came clean, oiled to prevent rust, and wrapped in moisture-proof paper. Really happy with these blanks.

> 3 daySpark tested this, definitely high carbon. The packaging, as others have said, was good. No rust, no pitting, very light oil, fast shipping, and everything got to me undamaged and not bent or twisted. Looking forward to testing really testing this steel.

> 3 dayThese Steel Bars came wrapped in anti rust paper and then in a tightly packed bubble wrap mailer. The steel bars had no rust and only very minor surface scratches. All three of them are the same size and they are straight with no bow or twist. I did a grind test on them and they do seem to be high carbon like they say they are. Overall, I am quite pleased with how they were packaged and the general quality of the steel.

> 3 daythats what im calling cheap but best. after finishing cutting edge is razor sharp, but really needs oiling after using, because even after one single day its surface getting rust

> 3 dayThese are good quality steel and are good for knife making or just to use as metal stock for projects. The steel is easy to work with in terms of cutting and forming. 3 of them were perfectly flat, the 4th was not. It can be bent back flat, but it tends to spring back to the curve pretty easily. I guess thats an indicator that the steel is good. Its not so good if you want to make a straight knife. Maybe I can find another use for the bent one. I like how they came packaged and were all rusty or overly oily. Perfect packaging in my opinion. Overall would recommend for knife projects where you dont want to scrounge up a piece and just want something made for that purpose.

Greater than one weekThese were nice and flat with accurate dimensions. They were wrapped in oil paper and were also oiled with a smooth clean finish. Pretty good for flat stock.
