I bought a large socket set years ago from a big box retailer. The case they came in did not hold them secure so every time Id open it many of the sockets were floating around the case and out of order. These Olsa socket holders are a very high quality set. I bought the set of three (one for each size sockets). I liked them so much, and had so many sockets to organize, that I bought two more sets of three. Now all my sockets are in order and stored neatly in my tool chest. Very highly recommended. If I had to find something to constructively criticize, it might be simply that the rubber end pieces might eventually crack and not stay on. If that were to happen, the socket holders could theoretically fall off. But they dont slide on their own so I dont think that will be a problem. I really like them. I would like to maybe see different colors of anodized aluminum (maybe a blue set?). That way I could have SAE as one color and Metric as another. Five stars and a repeat buyer. Looking at their other offerings now for even more tool organization.

These socket organizers are the best ive ever use...no BS ...do yourself a favor and order them. They are way solid and smooth...and the price is cheap for the quality. They hold a whole rack of 1/2 impact deep sockets and no flex, ZERO FLEX, yet theyre light and slide easily. The are made from some kind of high grade extruded aluminum and nicely anodized. Thats why i bought more in 3/8 and 1/4 . Sockets dont fall off but you dont have to fight to get them off either. Im very happy with these, in fact, this sale is me coming back here and buying more 1/4 and 3/8 to replace all my others...make life easier. Also, If they dont fit in a drawer or box, you can easily shorten them with a cut off wheel and slide the rubber end back on. Someone said they wish the 1/4 came with more clips for more 1/4 sockets. Yes, maybe they should offer a pack of the plastic slide clips, but I cant ding them for that. Its not often you get something this solid and nice for a cheap price.

While these may seem a bit pricey, they are definitely high quality! The rail itself isnt flexing/warping after loading it up with a bunch of deep sockets. Every socket latched into place very nicely -- not so hard that you struggle with it, but not so weak that youll have to worry about them falling off. I know someone else said the rubber end caps coming off easily was a negative, but Im going to consider it a positive -- I swapped a few clips from SAE to the Metric set, and this made it possible to do so. I havent had a problem with them just falling off on their own yet. The sockets do slide pretty easily on the rail, but they only slide when I push them, not on their own. I will definitely be purchasing some more of these, now that I have 3 red and 3 blue and have them all loaded up, being able to see what exactly is left of the new 311 piece set I just bought. My only complaint would be as someone else mentioned -- itd be nice to see different combo packs sold, like (2) 1/4 with (1) 3/8, etc. These are too expensive to buy a bunch of single rails to complete your set; I may as well just buy the combo packs of each again.

…and once you lose the end caps, the 1/2” socket holders can slide right off. So be careful

I bought these socket organizers to finally get my Craftsman socket set out of the plastic molded case because they would frequently fall out of their spots inside the case, so I would have to spend several minutes putting them back. I use red for SAE, blue for metric, and black for extensions, etc. There are holes in the ends of the rails so you can screw them to a backing plate, or the inside of a drawer, etc. The rubber end caps slide off easily, which is by design, so you can swap out sockets, or add/remove sockets. If you prefer the sockets be locked onto the rails you can make sure the bolt head you use to attach them sticks above the clips and acts as a stop. Alternatively, you could just bend the rails at the ends to lock the sockets on, but I wouldnt do that because it would be too permanent. You can order extra clips, rails, and end caps, so you can cut rails into smaller rails and make custom holders. The clips are great and hold the sockets on well. I had a problem with my order and contacted the seller through Amazon. Mark from Olsa Tools got back to me right away and resolved the issue immediately. Five stars all around.

Long time mechanic, these are cheaper then the tools truck and are good quality product. Have at least a dozen of these now easily interchange sockets and clips. Probably will added more soon again. Highly recommend!

I purchased this strip mainly to hold a set of 1/2 impact sockets I purchased recently that came with a very poorly designed holder so I needed something to replace it. This organizer/holder works perfectly. It holds the entire 13 piece set which goes from 32mm down to 10mm. There were a few spares, but not enough room to hold any more sockets so I just slid those off - which is easy to do. I just put it in a drawer of my tool cabinet versus mounting it like some other reviewers did, but it is certainly strong enough to set it up that way. Its very well made and a good solution for organizing sockets. I will likely purchase a few more and move all of my various sockets to one of these holders. Mainly to just keep them organized and be able to quickly know when one is missing. I would definitely recommend these holders for anyone needing to organize sockets.

Order: 2x Red 3 pack for my SAE sockets. Color: Fantastic, bright (definitely not pinkish). Bar: Very sturdy and sockets retention is strong My biggest complaint is I feel ripped off on the clips. You can order a single bar or a 3 bar set, but both options only include half the number of clips each bar has capacity for. As you can see from my picture for example the 1/4” bar will hold 36 clips pretty easily. You can buy clips separately from OSLO but they are quite costly. So why does each tray comes with roughly 1/2 the amount they can hold? These clips are very inexpensive to manufacture, very inexpensive. Including so few clips is a major disadvantage for those of us who have larger tool sets. I have +60 sockets for each size so it’s either pay for extra clips or buy another 3 piece set, which I ended up doing. Love the product, hate the price and package combination options. $13 for single bar with a few clips, $12 for just a few clips, or $26 for 3 bars with a few clips each. Touch choice for me and even if you bought a small socket set, which usually includes it’s own organizer. At the end of the day I’m very happy with the look and very impressed by the quality. If I didn’t know for a fact that those clips cost less than $0.30 each to manufacture I’d flip over backwards for this product. Unfortunately the seller’s choice in grouping/packaging the items leaves me feeling much less excited about the purchase.

Not a bad price, but you need to put a zip strip in the end holes to stop the clips with sockets from sliding off the end of the rails in a tool bag. Other than that these are great!
