I bought two 3 packs (1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch) to replace the plastic case that my 40 year old Craftsman Mechanics socket set came in. Every time I opened the case all the sockets fell out and after a while I just stopped organizing. Now I use one set for my metric sockets and one on my standard sockets. The ball bearings on each socket slot is just like that of a socket wrench. They never fall off and make organizing super easy. I highly recommend these! My 40 year old Craftsman set will now last another 40 years!

The very first line of the ad (above) says Olsa Tools Socket Organizer Trays | 6 Piece 3 Row SAE & Metric Socket Holder... So, correct me if Im wrong... That DOES say 6 piece, right?? And that would be one of the more important reasons that I bought this set... They really are very nice, and well designed... BUT I DID NOT GET 6 PIECES... I GOT 3 PIECES... Id like to know where my OTHER 3 pieces are at... There are a few other sets of similiar socket organizers on here offering 6 pieces for a similiar price... What little GREMLIN that it was telling me to add these 3 pieces out of 6 advertised to my cart, I may never know... But, like most other men in their 50s, I have quite a few MORE sockets than what these 3 rails are going to hold for $27... So, will somebody be sending me the other 3 rails, as advertised, or must I spend another $27 to get the other 3 rails that shouldve been in the package in the first place??? (That would make OLSA executives happy, Im sure)... Should I send these back, and pick another brand with 6 rails??? Should I ???take ONE for the team??? I havent decided yet, but I will update when i finger it out, for sure... GOOD DAY...

I bought these to make a socket drawer for my new tool box. The fit and finish is great! The sockets stay on and dont need excessive pulling to get them off. Im happy with my purchase and plan to buy more

I really like these socket racks. At least for now. They work really well, and allow me ot organize my sockets fairly easily. I purchased the 3 piece set, with quarter inch, three eighths inch, and half in drive racks. Design: The half inch rack is perfect. I cannot fit more than 16 half in drive sockets on the rack, so that is sufficient. However the three eighths in rack could hold several more (probably 4 to 6). And the quarter in rack could hold (and should hold) a whole lot more, probably 24 to 26 to fill it out reasonably well. Yes, you can buy 6 additional pegs, but the price is exorbitant. For the price, they should include the cheaply made plastic pegs to fill out a rack with the initial purchase. It would be nice if they included magnetic attachments that could slide on the rail facing the back of the rail. That way you could stick them to the outside of your toolbox, or any other metal surface. Construction: The rail is aluminum, and therefore nice and rigid. The pegs that hold the individual sockets are plastic with a metal ball bearing detent, and (presumably) a metal spring behind it. This works pretty well, and you can slide the pegs along the rail as you wish (and need). You can also remove or replace a socket with one hand, which is nice. The aluminum rail means you can carry the rack around with you and be assured they will not sag and sockets fall off. The plastic pegs are probably very suitable and appropriate for the overall operation, but for the price they should at least include the additional three eighths and half inch pegs t hat you will probably need and either buy, or deal with wasted space in the toolbox. The plastic pegs have a visible seam line where the part was molded, but it doesnt seem to affect the function. Function: These work really well. The aluminum base rail is thick and stiff enough that it does not flex at all, even picking up a full rack of heavy sockets. The sockets click on and off the pegs nicely and even large heavy sockes are held securely. I like the fact that they are easily removed and replaced.

End caps could be better, price Is decent. I looked at other options. These seemed best to me. But still room for improvement.
