> 24 hourI purchased 2 of these and put it in to two of my machines on my network that was close together. Transfer rate for files from machine to machine is now astonishingly fast. What used to take hours now takes minutes. Great product for the price. The best part of it all is that you dont have to deal with fiber.

> 24 hourI purchased a BCM57108S based PCI card for my ESXi 6.7 server, and this 10G RJ-45 30m SFP+ module. I had read a review that said only the Intel SFP+ modules work with ESXi, but I didnt have any problems with this unit. My switch is a TP-Link TL-SX1008 switch, and using Cat6 cable (about 15 feet). Everything set up like a breeze and its working well. If you need more cable range than 30m then youll need the 80m SFP+ module, but if youre just using short runs, this one is probably less power hungry (i.e. less heat). Seems to be a good value based on prices Ive seen for other similar items. I would buy these again when I need more.

> 24 hourEasy to install. I was able to plug directly into my cisco 3560 switch and it detected it right away. Worked like a charm and at the full 1000mbps.

> 24 hourI have an Aruba S2500-48P switch that has 4 SFP+ interfaces that are noted as only supporting 1gig copper modules in the manual but on a whim i grabbed this thinking if it doesnt work no big deal, but sure enough right out of the package and loaded it into the powered on switch and it picked it up and saw it without issues or additional tricks like enabling unsupported transceivers etc.. Connected to my google router and full10g works perfect on a cat6 cable! Ordered 3 more now. I havent tested jumbo frames/mtu yet but I will update if any issues. > 24 hourPlug and play. We use these with Cisco SG300-10P and SG350-10P switches. Have not had any problems with them.

> 24 hourThis is just a first impressions review but so far these modules are working great with a Cisco 3750-X that has a C3K-NM-10G uplink module inserted. I have both 10g SFP slots populated with this SFP connected to a server with an integrated Intel X550-AT2 chipset/phy (using these ports to connect an edge device rather than uplink to another switch/router, it’s just my home lab network). No special iOS configuration is required on the switch. iOS thinks they are real Cisco SFPs and they ID themselves as such. There are no SFP diagnostics/stats available that I can tell but no big deal IMO. I am using two .5m CAT6 (not CAT6a) cables with no issues, obviously this is a short run so I wasn’t expecting any issues there.

> 24 hourI have a few Mikrotik routers and switches with SFP+ and none of these allow 2.5G or 5G connections with these SFP+ Modules. They work fine at 1G or 10G. Mikrotik said its due to the Ethernet side negotiation not being registered correctly in the ROM so they cant read the DAC information inside of the SFP+ modules ROM. On the Mikrotik side these modules always link at 10G, even when a 1G device is peered. If you need a simple RJ45 10G module then this is good for the price. But do not expect full 2.5G or 5G support with these modules. Also they run hotter then other modules and DACs I use. So consider active cooling applications.
