> 3 dayBought this as a much less expensive (by 40%) alternative to the highly rated 10Gtek SFP+ to RJ45 10GBase-T adapter. Its been working just fine in the SFP+ port of a D-Link DGS-1510-28X to provide the 10G link to a ReadyNAS 626. Throughput is as good as Im able to test with mostly 1G equipment. Heat generation doesnt seem to be an issue so far, although it is definitely warm to the touch. Packaging is fairly plain, but Id rather pay less than get a fancy box to throw away.

> 3 dayWorks fine on other switches but causes flapping when used in MikroTik switches. Check out the MikroTik S+RJ10 if you need 10G-BaseT in MikroTik hardware.

> 3 dayUsed it for a Mikrotik RB3011 router as well as a MC220L media converter (https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Ethernet-Converter-Supporting-MC220L/dp/B003CFATL0). Had in operation about a month now, no complaints so far. Runs at about 35 degrees celsius in my router.

> 3 dayUsed in a mikrotik cloud switch with no issues. Throughout tested at 920Mbs over 10 cat6a. Good low cost option for 10gbe which is finally - slowly - becoming more common in network appliances.
