> 3 dayThe long and short? It works and works great. Fast no nonsense setup. Verified 10G compatibility between the Netgear XR700 wireless router and Netgear SX10 switch networking using a 5 foot Mediabridge Cat7 Ethernet Patch Cable. Great price and great performance. Thanks Amazon.

> 3 dayBought one to test for an ODroid H2+ / Ubiquiti US-16-XG cluster deployment. After updating the drivers for the Realtek 2.5GbE NIC I was able to hit 2.3Gb in iperf3 easily. Will be purchasing more.

> 3 dayI have a few Mikrotik routers and switches with SFP+ and none of these allow 2.5G or 5G connections with these SFP+ Modules. They work fine at 1G or 10G. Mikrotik said its due to the Ethernet side negotiation not being registered correctly in the ROM so they cant read the DAC information inside of the SFP+ modules ROM. On the Mikrotik side these modules always link at 10G, even when a 1G device is peered. If you need a simple RJ45 10G module then this is good for the price. But do not expect full 2.5G or 5G support with these modules. Also they run hotter then other modules and DACs I use. So consider active cooling applications.

> 3 dayBeen running these SFPs between two microtik switches with 10G connections between them. These SFPs will connect right up, but after a while they start flopping, going up and down. I bought 4 originally, and had two replaced thinking a couple I got were bad, but low and behold they ended up failing as well. I would choose a different brand, at least for the RJ45 SFPs. However, your mileage may vary.
