(2 in 1) Tempered Glass Top LCD Screen Protector + HD Clear Crystal PET Buttom LCD Screen Protective Filter for 3DS XL/New 3DS XL

Anyone who has used a screen protector (particularly tempered glass) will find this product familiar. The packaging, and even the internal components such as wipes are all identical to similar products for cell phones. As the description states, the package contains two protectors for each screen; the top protector is rigid glass, the bottom flexible to prevent interference with the touch screen. While the top protector is cut almost identical to the screen (including slight variations in the top and bottom corners, which should be noted when applying), the bottom protector is slightly smaller than the screen. This could lead to dust building in the small gap between the protector and the edge of the screen, although provided the device is kept closed when not in use I dont foresee a major problem. The box contained no instructions, although anyone who has applied phone protectors should not need any. While I have not used them extensively enough to determine how long they will last or their quality, considering the price I am happy with the purchase and the expected protection that they will offer.

Bough these two and there were malfunctioning defects with three of the four top tempered glass protector. It looked like a crack or smudge, but it was in the same exact spot across all three of them. I dont believe it was on my end. I would give this one or two stars, but who else is going to sell 3DS screen protectors in this day and age. :/

Not much to say here. Its a good screen protector. Be aware, that the lower screen protector is made out of plastic because its also a touch screen. The upper screen protector is glass, though. And yes, theres a very small gap left unprotected in the lower screen. Its not really a problem for me.

I took sometime to research a screen protector for my 3DS as I wanted a glass/smudge proof top screen protector. The issue has been most of these come with an awful touch screen protector that uses the cheapest film possible. This is the first set I’ve found where the quality of the top screen protector is matched with a quality plastic protector for the touch screen. While not glass it’s near thickness and protects fairly well from finger prints. My only complaints; the kits may be a bit dated. Some of the screen cleaning pads may be dry. Applying the bottom screen is never easy, this kit included. The thickness helps when guiding to avoid bubbles but the protecor is sized a hint smaller than the screen itself, leaving a small line.

good protection for my 3ds screen, now that 3ds systems are harder to find its good to be able to keep it in good condition. only problem is that both the protectors for the bottom and top screen do not fill the entire space, leaving some parts of the screen exposed.

The touch screen protector is significantly shorter than the touch screen itself which made me debate about actually applying it. The top glass screen protector fits the top screen all the way but comes a little short at covering the all of the bezel (which I dont mind). I am more bummed about the bottom screen protecter though. If only it was like 1mm taller then I would have liked this product more. I do not recommend this product if you want to protect the bottom screen.

So, as far as screen protectors go this is probably as good as it is gonna get for the 3ds. The thing I loved about these is that if you have micro or even regular scratches, the tempered glass hides those so well. It looks like a brand new lens. The biggest con, which is only annoying on the bottom screen is that the protectors are smaller than the actual screen, especially height wise. My touch screen still works with the protector so far. I would recommend this apprehensively.

Ive bought like 4 of these and everytime Ive applied the top screen protector to a new new 3ds it cracks from one of the corners, every time. It still protects the screen but wtf, literally just applied one to a 3ds I was modding for my buddy left it over night and in the morning it was broken. Like how, how does that even happen? Putting these on and having it come out perfect is an unrealistic goal only chased by fools. Im the fool and soon you may be as well.

The top screen protector fit pretty well, but the bottom screen protector was not big enough to fill the entire screen, but it was easy to apply them both, and they included wipes for your screen.

I treat my New 3DS XL pretty gently and I always keep it inside a carrying case when not using it. I dont slam it shut or put unnecessary pressure on it when closed. Im running into a problem with this product where the glass is pretty thick and is making contact with the bottom bezel around the touch screen and cracking the glass screen protector over time. Im wondering if I need to add some additional plastic feet inside my 3DS shell the prevent this contact from happening, but its pretty annoying.
