It was very hard for me to use even when I let the hose warm in the sun. Not for older folks that are weaker.

Requires very little pressure to make a hole for drip irrigation inserts

Puncture end worked really well as expected. The cable connector feature for my application worked really well for my application. I was inserting a barbed fitting into a hose if you put your thumb and forefinger finger as shown in the pictures and press in at a slight angle towards the underside of the tool it pushed in the barb quite easily. There were reviews saying it didn’t work for them but in my application it worked very well.

This goes right into irrigation tubing. Or your hand. Keep the little rubber cover it ships with. It’s also great for pushing the connectors into the hole using the other side.

The first time I used it. It went all the way thru the tubing and put a small hole on the opposite side.. I went back to the old one I had after that..

I love this tool! Soooo much better than the one came with the irrigation kit. Easy to use, punctures easily through the 1/2 pipe.

Dont buy this... you couldnt GIVE me one. Rainbird has one that is somewhat better.

Works well. Don’t push too hard or you might go through both walls
