Greater than one weekWho knew gardeners had special tools for adding lines to the drip system. This makes it so easy. I am so excited to find this. Just added some new lines and the holes were the right size and it was easy to get the pieces inserted. How cool is this!

Greater than one weekThis only works for those hard thicker plastic type lines. Dont do what I did and get it thinking you could use it on the kits you see here on Amazon with all the goodies included. I love the kit I got, dont get me wrong, but I didnt realize the main line isnt that hard plastic type. Its a softer one, and you can not get this punch through it. It will stretch and stretch and stretch. Yep, I tried it to that degree. Not a single hole. It didnt hold the 1/4 line like its suppose to, either. So you can install the ends and such? Nope. I might be an idiot though, so .....

> 3 dayThe hole-punch end of this tool is awesome! The other end that’s supposed to help you install the small fittings into larger tubing is not as nice. It really only works if you have 1/4” tubing already attached to one side of the fitting and the fitting slips out of the tool really easily if you use moderate amounts of pressure because of the angle of the handle.

> 3 dayAs a whole punch, its awesome: sharp point and good size and shape to maintain a grip while pushing the tool into 1/2 inch or larger supply pipe. But its useless for inserting emitters-- you can lay the quarter-inch tubing into the channel but it will just slip down when you try to push an emitter into it. To be fair, I dont see a tool design that would work for this purpose. The only strategy that has worked for me is dipping the end of the tubing into hot water; the emitter slips on effortlessly. I gave it four stars because its a well-made tool at a reasonable price; it fails only at what is likely an impossible task for any tool.

> 3 dayHole punch works ok, at least while new. The insertion side is a clever concept and abysmal execution. It could have been a great tool if designed to hold the fitting upon insertion.
