Greater than one weekFinally got to use this today and really I am kind of disappointed. The head cant be tightened enough to keep it from moving while sanding. The ideal thing for the maker of this would be to have notches so it could lock in place.

Greater than one weekIve purchased this sander twice. The first time in 2020, it had a black rubber head, completely different set up and was great. I bought a second last year as a backup and finally burnt out the first one. I knew the second one looked different but figured it would work just the same. Wrong. The second one has this white foam pad that is larger than 2. As other reviewers have stated, no 2 sand paper fits this sander correctly. If you like sanding the inside curves of your bowls with velcro, this is the sander for you. Save your money till they fix this issue. The diameter of the sander head should be less than the size of the sandpaper.

> 3 dayThe tool is self is incredible does what it needs to do. It is of great quality no cheapness about it. But I was more impressed with the customer service I received from Peachtree Woodworking Supply, Inc. I had a little issue with a missing Allen key and brass bushing. I sent a message to the seller and within five days I got the missing parts. I will definitely buy from them again and recommend anyone seeing this review buys from them if theyre looking for a 2 inch Diameter Bowl Sander with Dual Bearing Head and 2 inch Foam Hook and Loop Sander

16-11-2024Bought this for its purpose. Took a little getting used to. Nice that it comes with 4 each of different sandpaper grits. Works pretty well. Saves ones hand from having to go inside bowl. I like it but if the bowl mouth is wide enough I dont bother with it and just hand sand.

> 3 dayI have seen this tool used on many videos I have watched about wood turning. Now that I have one I am not sure how I got along without it. Sanding the inside of bowls is now easier and the results are excellent. The quality of the tool is above what I expected and I am sure that I will be using it for many years to come. It comes with some sanding disks in 100 grit so it is advisable to order some 2 inch disks that are also available on Amazon. I ordered a set that has 10 of each grit through 3000 and both of the items arrived at the same time.

18-11-2024Although I do power sanding and hand sanding when turning, this tool work beautifully to smooth out any tracks left from more abrasive methods. So simple, but elegant. Highly recommend it.

> 3 dayThis sander takes a little time to get going properly. But from the first time you try it you will out do the old methods of using a sander or paper rolled up in your hand. My biggest problem was getting the small groove from the bull gouge out. It seemed that as I sanded the grooves the wood around the groves was being removed at the same rete. with this bowl sander that problem went away rapidly. Bowl sander is the perfect name. You will finish your work much faster. Enjoy
