After a year or two of use, cleaning just does cut it. The Dyson brand filters work well and great to have.

The filter is identical to the original filter. Why over pay for the original when this copy is built the exact same way?

My Dyson V-7 would start running for about 5 seconds and then die. Duh, I’ve had it for about 3 years and NEVER cleaned it!!! And I have dogs and a cat, so you know it always fills with hair. So I YouTubed my vac & followed the instructions and WOW!!!! was my vac FILTHY!!!! It was one of those moments where you think, “Man, sometimes I am really dumb.” But in my defense, my wife vacuums so it just didn’t enter my mind. She thought the battery was dying but of course it was way overdue for a cleaning. Really, it was almost completely the filter that was clogged so I rinsed it in hot water and the dirt just kept flowing out of it. I let it dry overnight and the next day my wife vacuumed the about half the house with no problem before the battery ran out. So I ordered these and then replaced the filter and my wife re-vacuumed the WHOLE house before the battery died and needed recharging. And it increased the suction power by about another half. So instead of wasting time cleaning these nasty filters, just replace it!!!

Did exactly what I needed it to do

My vac is sensitive on the overload cut off. I have to concentrate to no big it. I not sure it it is this part. I was negligent on cleaning the original. I assume this is endemic in the design, but do not know. I have bought a load or dissolar parts here at Amazon...this stick vacuum still vacuums...vet used. No complaint.

I ordered these replacement filters for our Dyson vacuum (which is the best thing in the universe, just love it!)-- we took out the filter to wash it, then let it dry, and it somehow got thrown out. So I ordered this 2-pack of replacement filters and they came so quickly, and are the perfect filters for this awesome vacuum. Will only have a Dyson vacuum from now on, it is so good.

I have had my Dyson for a while. I hated when I forgot to clean the filter and the Dyson stick wouldnt sweep I would wash the filter and wait 24 hours for it dry. Now I have 2 spare and can easily change them out when one is being cleaned. I put off buying these filters as I thought they would cost a lot more. But I snagged 2 for under 20 this is a steal
