> 3 dayWe bought the SlumberPod because we are visiting family for three weeks and our one year old would be sleeping in the same room we were. It worked like a charm and our baby slept even better than he sleeps in his own bed - we got a extra hour in the morning and any parent with an early riser knows how amazing that is. It is pitch black inside. Even with the front flap open it’s dark enough for sleeping. Our main concern was our son waking up and seeing us so we only shut the flap at night. We didn’t use the slumberpod fan but bought a larger clip rechargeable fan (I’ll link that at the end) and clipped it to the top. This worked perfectly though I’m not sure we needed it. It did have an adjustment day but we found that leaving the front flap open until he felt comfortable did the trick. I would recommend this to anyone who is considering for travel and based on my experience with newborns I can see how this thing would be life changing. I will certainly use next time around and have already shared it’s magic with my friends and family.

> 3 dayWe traveled to a hotel and shared one space with 3 kids, the older two requiring nightlights. This kept consistency for our one year old with black out. He slept great for 7/8 nights in a hotel and the one night that wasn’t great had nothing to do with sleep environment. My husband hesitated on the cost, but now agrees it’s worth every dollar! We are so glad we didn’t do a cheaper brand. The material is soft and stretchy, it went up and down in less than 5 minutes, the monitor pocket worked great and the vents are perfect. They thought of everything! Just buy it! I’d also recommend a trifold memory foam mattress with carry case for the pack n play too :)

> 3 dayThis is my first Amazon review but this product deserves it! I can’t put a price on sleeping through the night… it may be pricey but it freaking works! We’re on our way home from a trip and both nights my toddler slept through the night and stayed in his pack and play. He had climbed out recently and wakes up regularly, I needed something to help with those issues. Not only did he stay in, he wanted to get in it, and he slept until 9 AM!!!!! Buy it, you won’t be disappointed! The only negative is set up takes a few minutes. It’s not hard, just takes a little while. 10/10!

> 3 dayWe bought this in preparation for vacationing with a 12 month old and it worked exactly as we hoped. The price is worth it compared to a two bedroom hotel room. It fit easily over the hotel’s pack n play and was easy to pack in our suitcase. We still use it on occasion for naps at the grandparents’ house. We even had guests use it with their 11 month old who typically doesn’t sleep well in her crib at home but slept great in the Slumberpod!!

> 3 dayWe love the sleep pod! Takes a bit of figuring out at first but if you’ve ever set up a tent you shouldn’t have a problem! It’s kinda tricky in a confined space we have very small rooms in our house for when I tried it out and when you put the poles together it’s a bit tight. We love it though and have used it a lot! I knew we would get our moneys worth! We’ve done 3 trips where we’ve had to share our room with baby. He sleeps great it this! No complaints

> 3 dayThis thing is amazing if you travel as much as we do. Even just to take to my in-laws house when we visit, it’s so great to have a space where we can put my son that’s guaranteed to be dark. The one con is that the fan doesn’t work unless you rig it so it can get air. The zip pocket for the fan is a smart idea, but the fan itself is too small for it. We had to lift a small area of the side of the slumberpod up on something and didn’t end up using the zip pocket at all because of this.

> 3 daySo I think a lot of the positive reviews come from influencers they send the product for free too. ( or discounted) I did 2 stars because It does in fact black out but its so hot inside our baby would wake up sweaty. We bought it for a trip later this month and tried it out this weekend and so thankful we didnt drag this across to world.

> 3 daySo far our 7 mo old is sleeping great in it (first time at nap today), but there is a stitching defect as shown in the photos. One of the top sleeves that needs to hold the rod was stitched closed and cannot be used without cutting a hole.

> 3 dayOverall this was what I needed. It was definitely helpful for everyone’s sleep to keep the baby in her own darkened space while traveling. It packs down pretty small and is easy enough to put together. I only have miner issues with the product. It got stuffy inside. We had a fan in one of the pockets, but it’s just tough to get good airflow . And the clear pocket for the monitor couldn’t be adjusted and was a tough to see through.

> 3 dayWe are excited to try this product this summer when we travel, however trying to set this up can be very frustrating. We camp a lot and are used to tents that use a two pole cross like this and I found this one to be very cumbersome to put up with one person. The fabric is much heavier than a tent, causing it to be weighed down and this causes the poles to bend and separate as you are trying to slide them through the tent slots. I tried putting it up then threw it in the corner in frustration - need to wait until husband is home. Beware this is a two-person job.
