> 3 dayWe are excited to try this product this summer when we travel, however trying to set this up can be very frustrating. We camp a lot and are used to tents that use a two pole cross like this and I found this one to be very cumbersome to put up with one person. The fabric is much heavier than a tent, causing it to be weighed down and this causes the poles to bend and separate as you are trying to slide them through the tent slots. I tried putting it up then threw it in the corner in frustration - need to wait until husband is home. Beware this is a two-person job.

> 3 daySo far our 7 mo old is sleeping great in it (first time at nap today), but there is a stitching defect as shown in the photos. One of the top sleeves that needs to hold the rod was stitched closed and cannot be used without cutting a hole.

> 3 dayVery easy to build, packs down to carry-on size package. It does get warm inside but we just remove one layer and set the fan to the highest setting. We bought the slumber pod and fan bundle. The only con is the camera pouch is plastic and if your camera isn’t heavy enough the plastic will obscure the image but I just cut the plastic and used bag clips to hold up our Kasa camera. Overall highly recommend

> 3 dayAll I can say is wow!!! This is the coolest thing Ive ever bought for my kids and I wish I had one for when my daughter was a baby! I was worried about how my new baby would sleep this summer in the trailer with all of us, but Im not worried now! This thing has it all! It came with a mini fan and has a pouch at the top for the fan and another for the baby monitor camera. It has several vents on multiple sides and it is literally pitch black in there! Worth every penny!!!

Greater than one weekWe LOVE our slumber pod!!!!! we’ve had a few sleepless nights in hotel rooms and this is a game changer!!! we have a standard pack and play with a toy bar over it, i hang a small (airplane shaped) star projector on and it shines dim stars on the ceiling of the pod (she falls asleep at home with a star projector) The pod sets up easily once you figure it out (i did have problems initially). it is dark in the pod and has ample Air vents, my husband is a general practitioner and i was concerned he would be worried about air flow but after examining it he was completely comfortable with our sweet daughter sleeping in the pod. We also bought a millard folding mattress to add to our pack & play and she now sleeps better while in her pod then she does at home!! I am sooo happy we were able to recreate our home sleep environment while away, i now get to sleep while away from home, yaaaa for us! more vacations, lol. ohh i also take along our alexa and play her sleep playlist from the outside of the pod. ohh and I put her video monitor in the pouch and i am able to see and hear her while she’s sleeping! they really thought of everything when designing this. the opening is a good size to lay her down and pick her up. i also take along her baby sense movement monitor and hang it from the side of the pack & play and i can easily access the on/off button because of the zip open front. She now naps wonderfully while away and sleeps through the night in hotel rooms. I did set it up in her room and let her nap in for a week before our trip so she had time to become familiar with the environment. I do recommend this product to those who travel it doesn’t really take up much luggage space. It is pricey but to me sleep you cant put a price tag on sleep!!

> 3 day*Really long review, but I wanted to be as thorough as possible.* I think this is a really smart invention. We have used the SlumberPod every night for 9 weeks and will continue to use it while our baby (currently 13 weeks) room shares with us. Before I get into the review, I think it’s appropriate to offer a little back story so you understand my perspective and why we use this product. When I was pregnant, we didn’t “prepare” our cat well for bringing a baby home. At the time, our cat slept in our room on a cat bed and we would leave the door open, so he can roam around during the night if he chose. When we brought our daughter home from the hospital, we put her in our room in a pack-n-play and had to close the door at night (cat not in the room) because we were concerned he would jump in the pack-n-play. This made our cat cry and moan and meow ALL NIGHT LONG. This went on for weeks. I figured he would eventually stop meowing at all hours of the night, but at 3 weeks he was still going strong. While I was pregnant, I saw SlumberPod on a Facebook group I follow and people were raving about it, but at the time I didn’t know if I would purchase it right away because it’s a bit spendy and we knew we weren’t going to travel with our baby while she’s teeny tiny. I had looked around at alternative privacy pods that were less expensive, but frankly I found something I didn’t like about the ones I had looked at... I’ll touch more on that later on, so you know where my head was when making my decision. After about 3 weeks of hardly any sleep (between a newborn baby and a cat meowing all night), I purchased SlumberPod from Amazon in the wee hours of the morning. Did I / do I feel silly spending $150 to accommodate a cat, Yes! But, what do you do?! I needed sleep and I needed my daughter to be safe. I can honestly say, it’s the best money I’ve ever spent. We can leave our bedroom door open, which means our cat doesn’t meow all hours of the night anymore. I’m a better mom when I’m fully rested. **I do feel a responsibility to say that you should use common sense when buying SlumberPod to keep an animal out of the pack-n-play/ cot. I’m not sure if the makers of SlumberPod advise using it this way, but it works for us. My cat is 11 years old and just eats and sleeps. In all truthfulness, my cat probably wouldn’t have jumped in the pack-n-play anyway, but it’s nice to have something to keep him out just in case.** Here are my thoughts on the cheaper options I had considered and why I decided to pass on them: I looked at two other privacy pods and both of them have a flat top (where SlumberPod has a dome, tent-like design). I had concerns that if the cat did try to jump on the privacy pod- thinking it’s a table or other flat surface- he would land in my baby’s pack-n-play, which is obviously a safety concern. I also read reviews where people with older kiddos had issues with the kid standing in the pack-n-play and the top opening because of the flat surface and velcro. Before using SlumberPod, I had some concerns so I want to share what those concerns were and then my findings after using it daily for 9 weeks: 1. Would my baby be able to breathe well with a tent pod over her pack-n-play? Yes, she’s able to breathe just fine. There are several air vents and we have all of them open and the SlumberPod is still plenty dark with the vents open. 2. Would it be a pain to change the sheets on the infant insert mattress while keeping SlumberPod over the pack-n-play? No issues. The pack-n-play mattress has a tri-fold, so I just fold the mattress together and slide it in and out through the large door. 3. Would the zipper wake my baby when she’s in the drowsy state and we are putting her to bed? This probably depends on your child, but we haven’t had any issues with the zipper disturbing her. Additional thoughts: I also really like the baby monitor pocket. There is a clear window inside so if you have a video monitor you can still see your child. You can’t beat the customer service! The SlumberPod inventors are a mother- daughter duo and you can tell they really do care about their customers. I know it’s a spendy product, but I honestly think it’s worth it. I look at it as an investment and since we use it nightly, the cost per use goes down each day. Although we haven’t traveled with it yet, it seems like it would be easy to travel with because it’s so compact and isn’t too heavy- and yes, it comes with a travel case.

Greater than one weekI absolutely love this slumber pod!!!! But i would only use it in the ac in about 68degrees. It’s not a thin fabric so it’s pretty stuffy inside. Don’t buy the little fan that comes with it if your pack and play has think trim like mine does. You can feel the air flow from the fan AT ALL. We ended up just bringing a box fan up to our hotel room and opened the zipper a bit once we went to sleep. But it was so nice to have the slumber pod, my niece was watching tv and eating in the lit up room when i was putting my son to sleep and he went right to bed, it really is pitch black in the pod.

> 3 dayI was going back and forth on whether or not I wanted to bring this on my weekend trip. My husband, 8mo, and I stayed in a tiny home Airbnb and I am SO glad I decided to buy this. It seemed way too expensive but it was worth every penny. We were in such close quarters but my baby was able to sleep just fine because of the Slumberpod. I had a little trouble seeing it up but once I actually looked at the instructions (lol) it wasn’t too bad. And it collapses flat to the side so it can store easily rather than having to reassemble each time.

> 3 dayIm really mad I didnt buy this for my first trip with my son who is now almost 3. This thing is amazing. Super easy to set up, breathable fabric, lightweight, compact, perfect pockets for monitor and fan or nose machine, and DARK! Perfect for travel and easily fits over standard size pack n play. My son loves it and felt like he was sleeping in a tent. No more spending extra money trying to book a hotel room suite with separate bedroom so we can close the door and he can sleep while we enjoy our time. If you travel anywhere with your kids (and they dont co-sleep with you), buy this now!!
