> 3 dayI recently ordered a Creality Ender 3 v2 as my first venture into the 3D printing world. A friend of mine recently did the same and recommended upgrading a few things right out of the gate. He recommended better bed springs and possibly a better extruder. I ordered this kit which included both of those items. I immediately installed them during the initial build of the printer when it arrived. Because I installed them straight away I have nothing to compare them to so I don’t have a judge of how much better they are than the factory ones. What I do know it the bed levels fairly easily and seems to maintain throughout the print. I usually always re-level the bed before each print as I take the build plate of each time when removing the builds. I can say my friend has had his Ender 3 v2 for about a month and his plastic extruder has already cracked. I guess the extruder upgrade such as the one included in this kit is worth it to avoid the headache.

Greater than one weekThese springs are a serious upgrade over the stock Ender 3 Pro springs! I read a lot of notes saying that the stock springs just didnt have enough tension in them, and after every few print jobs I was having to level the bed again. Not the end of the world, but if something will solve that problem for under 20 bucks, and upgrade the extruder to aluminum, why the heck not go for it? Everything arrived quickly and was neatly packaged. After opening the bag with the bed springs and wheels, I was impressed. The springs are very beefy, the wheels are nicely made and have good grippy teeth on them, which will make fine adjustment much easier, plus the pop of red under the printer is a nice touch. Installation was pretty simple: Unscrew the stock adjustment wheels until they come off the screws. Lift the bed up (being careful not to damage the bed heat wires). Remove old springs. Then I set the rear springs in place and put the bed screws down through them to hold them in place, and then tilted front of the bed down and slipped in the front springs. It was a little awkward to get it all lined up, but nothing too bad at all. After that, I attached the fancy new adjustment wheels. I went around the bed, tightening each corner to around 25%, 50%, then 75%, then finally 100% of the way down. I figured I should tighten them up gradually to keep from twisting the bed or knocking anything too far out of whack. Happy with how things looked, I turned on the printer and hit auto-home, and discovered a problem: Home position now had the nozzle below the print bed! I went back and checked the adjustment wheels and they were cranked down as tight as I could get them. I ended up raising the Z-axis about 2mm and that looked better, so I adjusted the Z-axis stop switch up until it clicked against the bed. Then I fired up the printer again and auto-homed it. Much better! I could see I had a gap now. I dont know if it was the upgraded parts, luck, or what, but leveling was much quicker. I leveled all four corners, then checked the center and it was dead on. After that I went back around the corners to check them all. The front left needed a tiny tweak and everything else was dead-on. The aluminum knobs are super grippy and very easy to make tiny adjustments. The stock plastic wheels werent terrible, but there are definitely better. Ive run 3 or 4 prints since doing the upgrade, and after that batch was done, I checked the level again. Still dead on , right where I left it! Hoping that continues, and things stay exactly where I put them. The extruder upgrade is really nice as well. It went on without any hassle, and feels way better than the cheap plastic included with the Ender 3. (just make sure when you remove the old one that you support the motor - the extruder is what holds it in place and when you remove the last screw, its going to drop!) The thing I like most about it is that its silver so its MUCH easier to see the hole past the gears that you have to get the filament into. That was a huge struggle for me with the black plastic, and with the new silver extruder, you can see exactly where the filament is going and it slipped right in with no trouble at all. I will say that the spring that came with the extruder was bigger and harder to compress than the stock one, and I didnt like the feel of it installed, so I used the stock spring and its been great so far.

> 3 dayJust swapped this bad boy in, and so far, this kit works great on my Ender 3 Pro. But here are a few caveats: * The bed springs, even at the tightest setting, are quite a bit longer than the springs that come with the Ender 3 Pro. To avoid scraping your print bed, youll need to either tweak a bunch of settings to offset z, or raise the zeroing switch on the side of your printer. Even with that, I managed to get the printer into some state where it tried to go below the zeroing switch when manually setting Z position, leading to an ugly gouge in my print surface. This may be an issue with the stock springs too, I dont know, but it hadnt happened to me before, anyways. Probably best practice here anyways is to be cautious and dont manually set Z downwards close to zero unless youre in the home position (not directly over the print bed itself). * The extruder uses a larger fitting for the Bowden tube than the fitting that came with the stock extruder. The replacement extruders coupling actually looks to be the same size as the hotends tube coupling instead, which actually is kind of nice, I think. * The extruder doesnt come with a cable clip (unlike the stock plastic extruder). You can just ziptie the power cable to the extra bit of screw from the extruders spring holder screw that sticks out , though.

> 3 dayWorks great, this is a good upgrade when the plastic extruder arm finally breaks. The springs not that useful with buildtek, but if you have a heavier bed with glass they might be useful

> 3 dayThis is an awesome kit to buy for your Creality. These are all actual Creality parts and install flawlessly. Even if you buy it just to have spare parts, this is a good deal. I like the aluminum leveling wheels opposed to the plastic primarily for the looks but I’m sure they will last the life of the printer. The extruder is awesome it even works with TPU, I had it running up to 60mms with TPU and didn’t have an issue.

> 3 dayThis set is a must have for any Ender series printer. The original springs that come with your printer are not that strong which leads the bed to be become unlevel very easy, sometimes even during a single print. I used to have an adjustment wheel left on the counter under my printer because it worked itself loose during the print. This set of springs will take care of mist of the leveling concerns you may face. The wheels themselves arent bad that come toil the printer but the red ones look and feel a lot better. The all metal extruder is well worth the money and time it takes to replace. The original one is plastic with a metal tube for the filament to travel thru. After 6 weeks of daily printing of PPE, the filament, even with a filament guide cut thru the tube and started to cut thru the plastic feeder. This will eliminate that problem all together. You have to be aware that the gasket/screw that holds the boded tube to the extruder is NOT the same one/size as the original plastic one. You will need to use the same size that is attached to your hot end (the other side of the boden tube) Get extras of that as well...... Overall, this is a first paid for upgrade that you should do on your machine. While you are at it, get some extra boded tubes form Capricorn.

> 3 dayI have this kit installed on two of my printers. Extruder pieces were well made and came with an easy to follow diagram. Bed leveling springs are strong and keep good tension on the nice aluminum leveling knobs... would definitely buy again.
