> 24 hourWorks well for using with condo windows and portable air conditioner. Mine is a single hose design but the second opening is useful to work around the window handle which would create an issue. With the constant opening and closing my lasted three seasons before I pinched the plastic when closing the window, causing small holes to appear. Also eventually the seal does get dirty from outside pollution so it is a good idea to replace it. The price is reasonable so replacing it every three years of constant opening and closing is a good value. I remove it during the winter so it stays on roughly 7 months out of the year.

> 24 hourI was really glad to find a way to connect a portable air conditioner to my window. I have very tall windows that open from the bottom out, so this was the only option I saw, but it works. The instructions are garbage. They’re confusing and only instruct you on one type of window, opens inward from the side. I found the instructional video and could piece together what I needed to do and change it to fit my needs, but it took several views and at some points I had to go back and forth between the video, written instructions, the pieces in my hand, and the window and frame in front of me to be able to figure out what I needed to do. Once I figured it out it was easy, if a bit tedious and clumsy. Better instructions and more window types included would be nice. The wind sometimes blows into the trapped plastic area, and the street noise isn’t blocked at all, but when the air conditioner is on none of that matters. It keeps me cool and that’s what I was after. Like I said in the beginning, I was just happy to find a way to attach my air conditioner to my window.

> 24 hourIve been trying to install my portable AC into a casement window for a week now. I have an outward-opening casement which opens vertically from the bottom. Before this, I tried a bunch of stuff to seal the window kit provided with my AC. Even after getting a sheet of plexiglass cut for the window, my AC still was leaking too much heat back into the room, and the plastic from the window installation kit even warped itself. This was my last hope... and luckily it worked like a charm! Im pretty sure I even accidentally ordered one slightly too large for my window, but it still fits and works fine after rolling up some excess material. Installation was super easy albeit a little tedious -- the instructions were kind of bad and the video instructions online were very poorly shot (theres an animated video and a real-life demo, both of which not super helpful), but it was pretty much just a matter of cutting two sets of 4 velcro strips - one set for the casement, and one set for the window frame. Then you velcro the seal, but annoyingly you have to pick a specific side to velcro to the casement vs the window frame, and the only way to tell which side is to follow the edge all the way until it tapers off at the end. It would be really nice if they would color the velcro on one side in order to tell that its the wide side vs the narrow side. I mentioned that I got one which is slightly too big for my window - I rolled up the extra material in the area where I wasnt able to finish getting a velcro seal, and taped it up with some painters tape. They say to use elastic for this purpose, but didnt provide any. Its not perfectly sealed in that area, and I expect I might need to do a better job of rolling it up if theres another big heat wave in the area. Installing with two hoses is just as easy as installing with one -- its just an extra zipper in the seal. I pointed them both downwards. After turning on the AC, there is very little heat being leaked back into the room, which is perfect! Like I mentioned, this is so far the only solution that has worked for my casement window. The material is high enough quality that I dont expect it to degrade significantly in the near future, the zippers move pretty easily around the seal, and overall Im pretty happy with it.

> 24 hourI installed this product on my apartment living room door it works and it is a good fit for the door I recommend it but the only comment I have is where the hose of the AC goes it should have a better design to not make any hot air scape from there.

> 24 hourI discovered this product when I did a search for portable AC window kits that worked with crank windows. It was a DIY blog that suggested this as an option and so I had to see for myself. As a renter I needed something that would not involve drills and affixing plexi glass to windows so this was my best option. So with the installation video on repeat I was able to figure out how to install the kit no problem. As a whole the window kit absolutely serves its purpose the only downside is that if you live in a very city, i.e. traffic and construction noise etc. it is loud. I cant leave the hose in and window open with the kit because it is like having the window open essentially. Even when the exhaust hose in and the AC unit is on, I do hear street noise which is a bummer. Anyway, if you live somewhere quiet, this is a great option. If you live somewhere busy, itll work but note that you will hear outside noise so long as the window is open.

> 24 hourAfter reading tons of reviews I picked this one to help seal a window - best choice ever! Originally bought this to install a portable AC in a basement casement window. The venting tube on the AC was too thick to even feed out the window, so we ended up removing the casement and just leaving the window screen on. Now that being said, this product is AMAZING. I installed it with the help of my sister and it took minutes to install. We added some weatherproof tape all around it to really seal it, but when you put your hand to it you don’t feel any heat coming in. Pro’s: - easy to install - actually seals the window, no air can be felt coming in thru it Con: - this thing is huge! Order the smaller size. According to measurements I needed the larger size, but bought both out of paranoia. The small one is so big there was plenty of extra fabric we stuffed in the window - not the prettiest thing ever - but hey I’m not hot so who cares!

> 24 hourThe original window seal that came with the air conditioner I had wasnt waterproof so water came into the seal when it was raining. When I ordered a new one to replace it I picked this because I saw that on the description that this seal is waterproof. When I asked for help for the correct size for my specific window, the seller gave me a quick response and the 400cm window seal they recommended fit my window perfectly. Even the small crack is sealed and there is no hot air or rain coming into the room now. Easy to open and close window, easy to install and a really creative solution. I would recommend this if you have similar issues!

> 24 hourPurchased this because I have an odd shaped window that cranks open. There were few options for installing an air conditioner in this hot room (despite central air), so I purchased a floor model. This seems to be the easiest option for installation. I looked at the directions, its fairly common sense. Stick on the Velcro and then attach it. It attaches fine. The vinyl is thin and flaps in the breeze if you dont get it tight enough. It definitely doesnt come together like the picture unless you have a degree in engineering. It works fine and really that is all I needed. My daughter has not complained once, that in itself is a miracle. The room gets cold and I can close the window when the AC is not in use. So, 4 stars because it saved me from replacing the window for another year and it works!
