It took me less than an hour to install this window kit and so far, I’m extremely pleased with it. I recommend taking the time to measure & cut your adhesive strips with the window closed so that you’re sure you can close the window after the plastic is on, and to ensure a tight seal.

Things I recommend is: - Good scissors - Measuring tape Before buying this product definitely measure you window and pick the size that matches your need. Just convert inches into centimeters. Once you do buy this product the vendor will send you couple videos showing installation and they were helpful. Having measure taping is handy so you can measure the pieces you need to cut and makes the installation easier and less likely to waste extra velcro. Keep in mind this is not perfect insulation and honestly there is no such thing but this window sealer will keep the hot air out and bugs too. After installing I just place my AC exhaust hose and use the reusable twist tie that came with this kit and lock the hose in place. Turn on the AC and my place cools down and keeps the hot air out.

Allows me to use an air conditioner in an unusual window and still close the window when not in use.

This was very easy to install! Fits well over the screen door on my Juliet balcony. I would give 5 stars but took one off due to the fact that you can hear everythinggg happening outside and will make a loud flapping if it’s windy. Living in the city it took a little bit to get use to at night with all the noise but doesn’t bother me as much now. Other than that it does a great job keeping the cool in! The room I have it in is about 500 square feet and it easily help maintain a 68° temp no matter how hot outside!

I purchased this product with my fingers crossed it would work in a portable AC exhaust hose application in my travel trailer/toy hauler. As with most toy haulers there is a horizontal type casement window in garage area that opens from the bottom. This product was very easy to install with very simple slight modifications made in the latching area. It performs perfectly!! I’m even able to close the window when not in use without having to remove the product. For the price I am completely blown away how effective it is. I would highly recommend to anyone!!!

I had resigned myself to getting a swamp cooler for my room as I have a very old window (think 1920s built house), which opens in a way that looks near impossible to fit any kind A/C unit there. However, searching the internet, I saw this neat window seal and it saved me from the 90 degree weather we get in Southern California on occasion. Its really such a life saver. As for application, its a bit daunting, and I wish there were multiple manuals, video or otherwise, available for the different window types, but its easy enough with some messing around. My advice would be to make sure that youre able to fit the velcro strips in a way that will enable you to close your window still in case, since not all nights will be scorching. That and order the correct size, as I failed to do so on the first trial. Great customer service, and again, I really appreciate this product.

This is a great idea with an interesting implementation, and with a few minor alterations to the design it would be perfect. As it is, it does a great job. First, the Velcro sides should be flipped. They send a roll of prickly side for the sticker for your window and have the soft side sewn in. While trying to run your finger over the Velcro you stick on your window frame, it is going to hurt, but if they made the soft side the side that was stuck on the window, there wouldn’t be that problem. Second, the ordering instructions say to order the closest rounded number to your window perimeter, but that will leave a small crack if your window is slightly larger than the size, so if your window perimeter is over 400cm, get the 500cm. As it sits, the edge that follows along the physical window has spots that bunch up. Which leads me to my last complaint, 100cm is WAY too big for that to be the size difference options. I needed a 425 or 450, as my window perimeter was 416cm, but getting the 500cm would have been crazy. But now I have a small section of my casement that leaks the hot air back in. I will have to make a small two sided strip to fit the difference. Over all though, this is a great solution to this problem. My summer will be nice and cool because of this product!
