> 24 hourI bought this after freezing all winter to accommodate a vent in an outward-opening casement window in my basement. Prior to buying this, the room would be FREEZING with the window cracked just enough to accommodate the 4 vent, even with blinds drawn and insulated blackout curtains. This thing is incredibly effective at keeping out the cold! The material of the seal is thin, but it can be 30°F out and my room is as warm as if the window were shut. Very impressed. Im still using the blinds and curtains for light control-- YMMV if you used it in a bare window. Havent owned it through hot temperatures yet, but so far very pleased with the purchase. Install was easy. Have not noticed any water or critters getting in, despite it being in a deep window well.

> 24 hourSeller very good customer service. Provided contact of needed prior to product arrival. Watch the you tube to install. Very helpful! Pretty easy once you line it up. Works as advertised. Used all season never had to remove. Pretty good even when exposed to weather.

> 24 hourIll start off by saying I am very happy with the way this product has been performing. We have casement windows so ended up purchasing some portable air conditioners and using these window seals to make sure they didnt have to work overly hard to cool the room. So far so good. I am impressed at what a good job theyre doing. However, these are not as easy to install the first time as they make it seem. On their own website they say Install it in just seconds and that is simply not possible. I had to email back and forth with customer service a number of times even after having watched their demonstration videos. Once I got it down the first time, though, the second time WAS a lot easier. Just dont think youre going to be able to unpack this and get it set up quickly without some help.

> 24 hourWorks well for using with condo windows and portable air conditioner. Mine is a single hose design but the second opening is useful to work around the window handle which would create an issue. With the constant opening and closing my lasted three seasons before I pinched the plastic when closing the window, causing small holes to appear. Also eventually the seal does get dirty from outside pollution so it is a good idea to replace it. The price is reasonable so replacing it every three years of constant opening and closing is a good value. I remove it during the winter so it stays on roughly 7 months out of the year.

> 24 hourThis window seal is perfect for installing a portable AC in a crank out window. The manufacturer has some videos posted here in the questions section and on you tube to guide you step by step. Skip the printed instructions and go straight to the video. Youll have your portable AC set up and running in less than 10 minutes. The material seems very durable and provides a near air-tight seal. At the end of the season, well take it down, fold it up and store it on a shelf in the closet. For under $20, you cant beat it.

> 24 hourI tried to use this for my window. It didnt work well, but thats not because the product is faulty. Since I live in an apartment, I couldnt use the Velcro that came with this. I think the wall/window in my apartment is slippery. I tried using duct tape and the duct tape kept coming off. Ended up having to throw this away since the duct tape made a lot of damage.

> 24 hourPurchased this because I have an odd shaped window that cranks open. There were few options for installing an air conditioner in this hot room (despite central air), so I purchased a floor model. This seems to be the easiest option for installation. I looked at the directions, its fairly common sense. Stick on the Velcro and then attach it. It attaches fine. The vinyl is thin and flaps in the breeze if you dont get it tight enough. It definitely doesnt come together like the picture unless you have a degree in engineering. It works fine and really that is all I needed. My daughter has not complained once, that in itself is a miracle. The room gets cold and I can close the window when the AC is not in use. So, 4 stars because it saved me from replacing the window for another year and it works!

> 24 hourSkeptical of the product, but for the price what the heck. Purchased, and my 3 year old assisted me on EVERY step. Was intimidated by the directions at first because I was like, which of the drawings is my dumb window? Then I just stepped back, took a look at the velcro and started putting the velcro outlining the window so that i can close without issues. EZ-PZ. I love it actually, mostly because It is was more appealing to the eye than the concoction I had put up and my wife complained of all year. Good luck, and great product.

> 24 hourI rarely review products. However, I feel I owe it to the manufacturer of this product as it solved a problem no one could: installing a portable air conditioner with casement windows. I live in the Northeast in a home with no central air conditioning. That concept is foreign to me as I am originally a Floridian. However it seems people get by the summers here by leaning on a portable A/C here or there. So I thought Id give it a try rather than spend thousands on central A/C or a mini split ductless system. I was disappointed to learn portable A/C units are not designed to be used with casement windows, but rather only windows that slide up/down or left/right. After scouring the internet for a solution and not wanting to cut a hole in my wall for a vent, I found this simple and affordable solution. I was skeptical that this would create enough of a seal to truly keep warm air out and the cool air in. However, my concerns were unfounded. This thing just works. It isnt that complicated to set up (even though their instructions make it seem so). Once you place the velcro on both the perimeter of the window frame and the perimeter of the inside window of the window itself, it becomes obvious how the bag should be placed (zippers facing you). The velcro tape this comes with is impressive and does not leave any residue (at least not within a day or two), as I have even successfully removed the velcro tape from a downstairs window and re-applied it upstairs to a different room (again, after about 24-48 hours of use). Bottom line, for the price you pay this product is excellent. And no, I was not paid for this review. I paid full price for this and it was worth every penny.
