> 24 hourWe love these outlet covers for use instead of outlet plugs for regularly used outlets. We use them for plugging in lights and other appliances and have them on all outlets we plug our vacuum into. It is a lot easier to use these than the safety outlet plugs. We dont have to remember to put the outlet plugs back in after vaccumming and for outlets we have lights plugged into we no longer have to worry if our toddler unplugs the lamp as we know he cant replug in the lamp and potentially electrocute himself. Highly recommend. We only bought enough of these to use on regular use outlets and use the safety plugs for all outlets we dont typically use.

> 24 hourLove these, theyre so genius. Been using them for weeks already and have had no issues with them melting or catching fire so idk what the issue was with that other review. If your outlets are working properly you shouldnt have any issues lol My toddlers monitor plug is sideways and I COULD NOT find a box outlet protector big enough to go over it so I was very happy to find these. Theyre a little thicker than the standard outlet covers but they look great and work perfectly for us. Yeah it doesnt prevent him from unplugging things but at least he cant plug it back in and get shocked. Already bought 2 packs of 6 and planning to buy a couple more packs once my daughter starts to get mobile.

> 24 hourSafety wise, these perform as needed. The only flaw- anything I plug into one of these covers has trouble staying in. It’s very loose. The end result is I end up avoiding these plugs when possible, because nothing stays plugged in.

> 24 hourBut these when I repainted my toddler’s room. They are perfect to keep her safe. Work as expected and are as easy to install as normal outlet covers. Absolutely worth buying.

> 24 hourI love the idea but so far dont like the product. It feels as thought the prongs for any charging device I have is not long enough to reach the outlet itself

> 24 hourBecause these outlets add distance between the plug and the socket it makes the connection very unstable. For example if the plug leans out of the socket even a tiny bit it often completely stops receiving power. Some sockets in our house just don’t work with any plug when these covers are on them. Other sockets don’t line up with these covers so plugs don’t even go into them at all. Wish they made a thinner version that didn’t create so much distance and instability to the actual power source.

> 24 hourBecause the sliding cover adds a mm or two of depth the prongs of whatever is being plugged in tends to wiggle out more than usual. This can cause some items to lose power if cord is bumped.

> 24 hourThese are all over my whole house, and I have shared them with all my friends. Everyone should have these on plugs they use regularly! It is so much easier and safer than always remembering to plug that little plastic thing in every time, before your baby gets to the outlet. It’s amazing how easy they are to install. Also, foster parents are required to have all the outlets in their whole house covered. This is a great and easy way to fulfill that requirement! Again, I tell everybody to buy these!

> 24 hourThese look nice, and they’re safe if you have a little one, but functionality is poor because of you have to use the outlet, the cover is too thick for the plug to stay connected. Plugs fall out of the socket since they’re not secured all the way in; the covers make that impossible.
