Not a professional so do not use every day, have used on aluminum and cuts well and is easy to use. Thread measurement gauges are very useful and for a weekend warrior / hobbyists, I suspect this is all you will ever need

Nice set, but know that M12-1.25 tap or die is not included.

t wrench was slipping and had not enough grip. this is a china typical quality. good packaging but one time use.

I give 3 stars since I was able to do a critical tap 1/2-20 without problem and chase the threads on several 1/2-20 bolts. But the first 9mm-1.0 bolt I attempted to chase the threads on and the die broke. The bolt was NOT a hardened steel of any kind just a Plain Jane steel. Im not a newbie, I have a smaller Tap&Die set I bought back in 1980 and have never broken a Tap or Die. Im just an advanced shade tree mechanic and have used Taps&Dies hundreds of times.

After a few uses the taps shear and snap. Was able to complete the job it bout his for but didnt last too long.

Worked Great

This kit was missing one of the most common and utilized tap and die, the; 10 x 1.25. I was kind of shocked and made me question the supplier/manufacturer’s mindset. I did select it from the Automotive Tools section. I ended up purchasing the individual pieces and placing it in the case.
